We loved our stay at Ian Anderson. We had a jungle suite which was very comfortable and secluded with plenty of room for the three of us. The food was plentiful and excellent, although I wish they had served more fish. Exceptional grounds and service, and the activities were varied and fun. I would highly recommend the cave rafting and...

We are a family of 5 (children ages 14, 12, and 9) and we chose a family vacation to Belize to allow our family to make memories together and help our children see the world. The Sleeping Giant did not disappoint! When we arrived (9:00 p.m. and a 2 hour time change), we had been traveling for 14 hours (delayed...

I would definitely return to Sleeping Giant. The best day trip through the hotel is ATM, where you swim through a river before arriving at the cave for a swimming and climbing adventure which is appropriate for the whole family. The grounds are lovely. I had a question about some of the plants, and Jairo, one of the gardeners, was...

We had a great time at Sleeping Giant. The staff was very professional and attentive. Our waiter Brian and bartender Juan were our staff highlights, as they welcomed us to our meals and made the end of an adventurous day enjoyable. Amy at breakfast always went out of her way to get us vegan breakfasts. The rooms are fabulous -...

My husband and I stayed at Sleeping Giant Lodge for the first three nights of our honeymoon (after which, we moved to Villa Margarita in Hopkins), and it did not disappoint! Room: Our private Spanish Casita was a dream! We loved our private outdoor tub and hammock and had the most adorable little stream that ran outside of our private...

This place is amazing...from the staff, to the rooms, to the food, to the resort grounds. We stayed in a mountain view room with a pool on our deck with a view of the sleeping giant mountain and surrounding mountains. Just a note with these mountain view rooms that it is quite the climb with lots of stairs to get...

What a spectacular place. We were treated like royalty. Eugene, the manager treated us like old friends from the day we arrived. All the staff was wonderful and very friendly. The rooms are beautiful, all with a spectacular view, the food was splendid. A lot of bird watching nearby. Great hikes and very knowledgeable local guides (Barnaby, Abelle, Rosa). I...

From the gracious arrival drinks & smiles to the ease of the entire stay, 5*'s isn't enough. My 2 gripes, if you can call it that, is the upper bunk bed couldn't be used cuz it's super high, with no protective railing and the old wood beams were wobbly. Second, it's confusing to find though it's only 1 road. You'll...

Beautiful inside and out of the room; highly recommended to stay here. Many hikes and bird watching opportunities on site. Bird variety is much greater here compared to the northeast. Food is very fresh and I have never eaten better in my whole life!

This is some of the finest lodging anywhere. Their customer service sets them aside from the rest, and I'm talking, "Worldwide" comparison. Fabulous grounds & setting, all well done with lux everywhere you love to have it. This one is a must; we never miss being there when in Belize. Excellent food, and a staff that make you feel "at...
