We love this property. The service is exceptional, the grounds are beautiful, the guides are excellent and food was very good. Even though this was our second visit, it was a completely different vacation for us. There are more than enough activities such that we did not repeat any from our last visit. It was very unfortunate that the ATM...

We had a lovely time at Chaa Creek despite a couple of days of rain. We enjoyed the butterfly exhibit, as well as the jungle trail ride. It is nestled into a beautiful jungle setting that is very serene and relaxing. Staff was wonderfully attentive and helpful. The meals were authentic and delicious. I would highly recommend a stay at...

My wife and I stayed at The Lodge at Chaa Creek for 3 nights and were blown away by the quality of all of the Lodge Staff. Everyone who we came into contact with was very welcoming and passionate about ensuring we should have a memorable trip from the moment we were picked up from the airport. The guides were...

As we sit here at the bar area by the main lodge, getting ready to check out (noooo), we decided to pour our thoughts out about the overwhelmingly wonderful experience we had down at camp. We wanted to write this while we're still submerged in this beautiful oasis, as to not forget any details! As you've more than likely been...

We stayed in room 23 and it was beautiful! It was a little on the expensive side in comparison to some other great resorts we stayed at. The pool was nice but because the public can access it, their weren't enough lounge chairs for us.. The food was great, especially the garnaches and lobster! Great place to stay if you...

Full Disclosure: We only came to this resort to visit the butterfly farm and walk the medicinal trail. The grounds are well manicured and beautiful. Not sure if it's during low season or not but the place was very quiet and tranquil. The property is pretty far away from the San Ignacio town, via an unpaved dirt road. So if...

We stayed at the Macal River camp which was absolutely wonderful. Docio and his family are the best hosts you could ask for! They took such good care of us. And we took full advantage of everything available at the lodge: spa, horseback riding, pool, bar, etc.

I haven't written very many reviews ever… but this place is worth the time. They seriously spoil you in terms of service, food, comfort and convenience. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are vintage yet modern, cozy and rustic. Remember, though… you are in the jungle. You will see geckos in your room, and the occasional small bug or two...

The staff here are GREAT. Genuinely friendly, helpful and caring - offering tips and organizing a trip to a local doctor for me at the last minute (Belize's medical services were also excellent). The no-tipping policy is hard to enforce as everyone is so great, but it also seems to work because the folks who work here seem happy to...

Dear Alexandria, thank you very much for inquiring about our facilities. Chaa Creek is a luxury Eco Lodge, Adventure Center, & Spa located in western Belize. Currently we don't have a tennis court on-site, but we have a host of other on-site activities that you may enjoy. We would love if you visit our "Belize Tours" section on our website and navigate to "on site activities". Best of all, you have around 7 FREE activities included in your stay! :)

Thank you very much for your enquiry and giving us the opportunity to answer them.

It is seamless to use facilities at the main lodge - it is a 10 minute hike along one of our Ruta Maya trails from the camp to the lodge. The walk to the Spa is an additional 5 minutes.

The pool use is complimentary for guests at the lodge AND macal river camp.

Your meals are reserved at our restaurant under an al'fresco thatched palapa. You have the option of dining at the lodge, please note that will be an additional cost for either breakfast or dinner which are complimentary.

Docio (camp manager) and his family do a superb job in assisting you with your needs. Anything you would need or like he will be very happy to assist with.

Let us know if you have any other questions, we'd be happy to further assist you.

Hi Dear,

Thank you for your inquiry.

January in Belize features mild temperatures and varying amounts of rainfall. This is the beginning of the dry season - not too dry and not yet wet, and is a very popular month for visitors both inland and on the coast.

The dry season is somewhat Belize’s winter minus the snow and freezing cold. During the months of November, December and January, the temperature in Belize drops a bit leading to cool windy days with lots of sunshine.

January temperatures in Belize range from an average monthly low of 70°F (21°C) to a high of 80°F (27°C).

We hope this helps.

best regards from the Chaa Creek family.

Hi dear,

Sunny greetings from Belize and thank you for inquiring. We recommend against smoking due to the fact that our cottages/bungalows are made out of wood, and many a times actually have dry leaves and or thatch on the floor of the porches. For this reason, we do not allow smoking in the immediate areas of the cottages.

Hi there, tropical greetings from sunny Belize! Thank you for inquiring about our accommodations. We also have the Spa Villa which is the only other accommodation with air conditioning. I trust this helps, please feel free to reach out to us via email or phone.
