This is a lovely property and a great place as a jumping off point to visit nearby  Mayan ruins. I had contacted two other properties for services and the reservations agent at Windy Hill, Mr. Elmer Pic, was the most accommodating and easiest to work with.  He wrote “tell me what you want” then designed a package for me that...

I stayed three nights, in between tours (not arranged by Windy Hill). Probably the best feature was the friendliness of the staff- not just pro forma smiles and how-are-you, but chatting about your tours, what you intend to do tomorrow etc. I had an air conditioned cabin, which was large and comfortable, although the bed was harder than I like...

Our sailing group came to this rainforest lodge after a week of sailing within the reef. We could choose a variety of historical or active activities or stay there and have a relaxing day bird watching, getting a massage or swimming and sitting by the infinity pool. A beautiful place with friendly, helpful staff!

My wife and I booked three nights in a deluxe cabana at the last minute, based on previous tripadvisor ratings. We wanted a place convenient to town and attractions but not too close, and something that offered a nice place to relax after touring. Windy Hill delivered on both counts. Our cabana was near the back of the property, up...

We really liked this hotel! The location was beautiful, and the hotel area was really nice and pretty. The rooms were big and clean, and the whole area was quiet. The pool area was very nice, and a lovely way to spend a relaxing day The only thing we were not happy with was the restaurant. It is better to...

I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend. The cabanas were very nice and clean with a little hammock out front. Also a great little property with a nice bar and beautiful plants. As many wrote, a perfect jumping off point for activities. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it seemed very well maintained. Wifi...

Excellent stay in early January for 3 nights. This place is ~2 miles outside of town and composed of a bunch of small cabanas. As with most cabanas in Belize, they aren't super fancy, but are generally spacious and nice. Our cabana was up the hill about 50 yards from the pool, which made it very quiet. Cabanas all have...

We stopped in Poptun on our way driving through Guatemala mostly because we wanted to watch the rose bowl game, but also because a few days out of the bus and in the pool sounded amazing! Finca did not disappoint. We often felt like we were the only ones there despite the fact they were sold out because most people...

This was our first trip to Belize and Windy Hill was a great choice. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked two trips through the Front Desk; to Tikal and the ATM caves and both went off without a hitch. Both Natalie and Jessica at the Front Desk were very helpful. Rooms are simple but very clean....

My husband and I stayed at Windy Hill for four nights in early December. We stayed in a casista that was close to the infinity pool and had nice views over the property. The furnishings are basic but clean. We would have preferred 1 queen bed in the room rather than 2 doubles but perhaps that was all that was...
