I recently spent with my wife and our friends: another couple, four wonderful days in the Log Cab-Inn. I would highly recommend this hotel. For an affordable price it is a perfect place for a base to explore Mayan cities of Xanantunich near San Ignacio and Tikal in Guatemala. Picturesque location in a tropical garden, beautiful outdoor swimming pool and...

Spent 3 enjoyable nights with friends as a base for local travel. Great location for trip to Zunantunich and Tikal . Monique saved us substantial $$'s arranging for Tikal with her contacts in Guatemala. Dennis and Herman were extremely accommodating, serving great drinks along with the very reasonably priced food with wide selection. The peaceful grounds were beautiful and well...

This was our second stay with them. Their rooms are clean and private. The pool is chemical free and the new addition is great. Quiet but close to town. They allow small pets which is nice for us as we travel with a small lap dog. The restaurant is open early for coffee by the pool.

The Log Cab-Inns has again exceeded our expectations. They welcomed our large group of 20 with the utmost hospitality and professionalism. The rooms were well maintained and extremely comfortable. The daily breakfasts and dinners keep us eagerly awaiting the next delicious dish. Log Cab-Inns provided us with a haven of rest during our 11 day stay and it quickly began...

This place is so tranquil and the grounds are just lovely. It is very close to San Ignacio and all the sights you could want to see in the area. Luis the bartender is very friendly and even took us for a walk around the farmers market to introduce us to a few fruits native to the area so we...

Log Cab-Inn is a great place for either a family outing or an extended stay. I've always enjoyed taking quiet walks along the many paths that run between the cabins, or strolling through the property and soaking in the sounds of nature. Another great advantage is the pool where you can sit and enjoy food while taking in a view...

I was in Cabin 3 to start with, and it was not in great shape. The room was not very clean, and there were wasps buzzing all around the room, especially in the bathroom. The bathroom was awful, dirty and in disrepair. I found a wasps nest after a couple of days. There was a tiny sink that came out...

This is a fairly large campus about a 5 minute drive from San Ignacio so it is nice and quiet. The rooms were clean and in good shape, although they did have a little bit of a odd smell upon entering. Might have been what they cleaned with as it dissipated after a day or so. The shower and bathroom...

A wonderful and attentive staff. It has a very nice bar and pool area. Things are simple but clean accommodations. Wifi works well in some areas. The food was tasty, plentiful and varied. The bartenders and restaurant staff were amazing!

This is a great place to go when you're trying to pick somewhere in town but also somewhere you will not be bothered by town things. It is a very quiet, relaxing place on beautiful land. The grounds does have a/c and a new larger house for multiple families in one. The people are always friendly and the quesadillas are...
