We stayed here for 2 nights. I agree with the other people's comments regarding the staff- they were really lovely and helpful. We stayed in a room in the main building. It was clean, but small i.e. not enough space to open 2 suitcases. There were towels provided for the pool and actvities. Shampoo and shower gel were provided in...

We spent our honeymoon in the jungle at Maya Mountain Lodge after our small destination wedding on Ambergris Caye, and we felt that the lodge was a gem. The grounds were very beautiful and all the plants were labeled so that you learned what they were, and there was a well maintained trail around the property for hiking and birding....

Safe, clean, quiet purified water Friendly staff- they go above and beyond. Delicious organic locally raised foods cooked in house. We had a lovely time staying at maya mountain lodge and would recommend it to anyone staying in that area of Belize!

For the price-point, Maya Mountain Lodge is a great stay with a convenient location just outside the bustling San Ignacio downtown. Each lodge is separated from each other, providing a nice degree of seclusion and privacy. The amenities are a bit rustic and weathered, but keep in mind you're in the jungle. If anything, this added to the charm of...

There is a lot to love about Maya Mountain Lodge! The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained, not to mention informational! The trees and plants are labeled so that you know what they are, and that made it interesting and fun with our 9 year old son. Wild flowers, fruits, birds, insects, and other wildlife abound here, and it's...

Our family vacation to Belize was our children's first trip outside the US. This certainly caused some apprehension. The amazing staff at Maya Mountain Lodge made them feel right at home the whole time! The resort itself admittedly could be updated. Loose trim, a fair amount of wear, decking around the pool that needs to be replaced, etc. All things...

Duration: 5 nights over Thanksgiving. Single traveler Overall: Wow, what a serene and peaceful property. It was beautifully maintained by the grounds crew. Just know that you are just off the town as a lodge, and not meant to be a resort. The large acreage property is undeveloped which makes the ambiance that much better. This is as close to...

Surrounded by lush rainforest, I just spent three fabulous nights at the very reasonably priced Maya Mountain Lodge. Our driver Dimas brought is from Belize City and he was a fountain of knowledge. The reception, kitchen, dining room, and housekeeping staff are extraordinarily and genuinely helpful. The Lodge booked me a wonderful cave walking, hiking, and swimming ATM cave tour...

This was a great place to stay. A little out of the town (about 2km) it is the middle of the jungle with separate accommodation areas. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and appear to be great with kids. They run tours for those interested as well as cooking classes. Many of these are expensive.

When you arrive at Maya Mountain Lodge, you are immediately swept into a lush, stunning, and serene setting. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, as if you've been friends for years. Our room was lovely and spacious, which included a queen size and twin bed donned with colorful Mayan blankets. It was quite rainy during our stay so our...
