My husband and our two sons, ages 12 and 13, spent 5 days at duPlooy's and had a wonderful stay. They really took care of us. We would get up early for the day's activities and our breakfast would be ready, our lunches packed for the day, and our order taken for the evening's dinner. No TVs, delicious healthy meals,... duPlooy's is surely the best Jungle Resort in Belize to stay. Everything was great, horseback riding to the ruins, Barton Creek, Rio Pools and the ATM cave. all our tours were exceptional and we had the best guides for all the trips. The drinks at the bar done by Albert and Humberto were just amazing, while the food has been... More

This lodge is wonderful! There is no a/c and no tv. But why would you go to the jungle for those things? Lest you think you will have nothing to do, do not despair. It does have internet, at least at the bar and at the office. But there is no shortage of activities and experiences. We had never been... More

duPlooys was as advertised, a great lodge in the jungle. No pool is necessary, the river serves that purpose well, tubing on the Makal was refreshing and easy. Clean rooms, didn't use my can of RAID. Room #3 is a basic room with nice bedding and bathroom. Makal Suite was great, large screened-in living area, individual locks on the 3... More

From booking to our trip duPlooys was there to make it a memorable experience. Patricia was so helpful booking our trip, answering my never ending questions and helping us work with a local school to make a donation when we visited. Upon arrival Phillip was like a warm hug welcoming us to Belize. All our adventures (zip lining, cave tubing,... More

Our stay at duPlooy’s exceeded expectations! We opted for the inclusive package which includes meals and activities and it was the right decision. The food was excellent (we confess we never ate lunch at the resort as we were always on the road). Our favorite breakfast was the sandwich and we made a habit of always hitting happy hour for... We really enjoyed our time at this resort. If you are prepared for more authentic jungle then this is the right place--so expect some bugs, some humidity and bumpy roads, but if you keep that in mind then you get to experience the fantastic staff, food and tours at this great hideaway. From the first night we arrived we loved... More

Jan and her staff at duPlooy's Jungle Lodge were terrific! What a unique location! We loved our stay at duPlooy's. This was our first international vacation as a family. Parents and 4 children ages 21, 18, 13, and 10. The service was exceptional, including each of our guides. Noel picked us up at the airport in Belize City and immediately... More
