We'd award this hotel an extra blip if it didn't advertise a $20 surcharge for air conditioning. We decided to tough it out with just a fan and were not too uncomfortable. Casa Blanca's in the center of San Ignacio, and as someone has already commented, the balcony offers a fine view of small town life in upcountry Belize. I...

We stayed here a week in February. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly and very helpful. Kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook, but with very good restaurants right across the street there was no need. We enjoyed our stay.

It's like staying an grandma's house! Lol. Doilies everywhere which has a certain charm about it. Free wifi but it's a bit on and off. Friendly staff but need to pay extra US$20 a night for the air-con which you will need as the humidity is so intense you'll be sweating all night. It's hot and stuffy in the rooms....

The pros: Casa Blanca is centrally located, and the room was clean The cons: The room was incredibly hot, so you'll probably want to pay more and get airconditioning. The kitchen had no stove, so you can keep things in the fridge and reheat in the microwave, but there's no way to cook the farm-fresh eggs you can get at...

They charge you 20 us $ for the A/C. The rooms and windows are so tiny that the rooms get terribly hot leaving you no other choice but to obey the rip off. I can only warn anybody to not stay here. If you like to sleep in saunas and love creepy doll decoration, this might be your place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is very simple and clean. They even do room service, which I didn't expect. Good place for people who are traveling by themselves. I stayed there for two nights. The location is excellent. It's right in the heart of San Ignacio so you can walk to many places. There are plenty...

It is conveniently located in San Ignacio and is an idea place to stay since it also includes the amenities of a guest house! The staff are very friendly as well as welcoming. They also cordinate tours around Belize at very competitive rates! Our group...

This is certainly an odd place to stay. It is on the second floor and is a lot like walking into the house of an older women who likes collecting ceramic items. The rooms are all down a hallway, which can get a bit noisy. The room was very, very basic. Our window looked right into the brick building next...

Stayed one night. Owner was very pleasant and ensured everything was working in trhe room which had a double and a single. Beds spotless as was the room - although don't expect thew Ritz! Nevertheless I was happy with it. Despite being on the main street, it was quiet at night. It has a nice balcony overlooking the street and...

Rooms so hot you could feel it when you breathed, room fans overheat to make the rooms hotter, could not even have a cold shower to cool down as the shower only dribbled water. Signs around the hotel offering AC for an extra $20 US per day only when I finally gave in and asked was told that the AC...
