Midas Resort is a budget hotel, which has air conditioning, a nice pool and wi-fi. It's about a ten minute walk to town, which did not feel dangerous at all at nighttime. The rooms weren't luxury, but I suppose you can't expect a luxury room with a budget price. The showers did take forever to get warm, which was frustrating...

If you are in town to do the caves or Tikal this is a great option. Clean comfortable rooms and a nice pool to relax after a long day. It is just on the edge of town. Easy to walk everywhere and there is a fun restaurant right next door. It can get a little loud on the weekends so...

The accommodations were just what we were looking for: private, secure, clean, comfortable and very charming with exotic plants everywhere and even a hammock on our private cabana porch. The staff was excellent. Andrea, who worked the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner, Maria, was very helpful in securing great transportation for our excursion to Tikal. The...

Within a safe max 10 minutes lighted walk from energized town you are in a private feeling inland resort. We stayed in a cabana that was very clean; very comfortable king size bed. A large pool bar area made it feel shore like. The staff generously gave any missing item was asked for.

The highlight of this hotel is the swimming pool which is quite large and has a hidden cave under the waterfall, which gave hours of fun for some of our group. There is also a bar overlooking the pool which serves, cocktails and other drinks. Rooms are a good size with TV, air-con and decent shower. Breakfast was adequate. Local...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while we were in Belize. We both thought it was a great place for the money. Our bed wasn't great but the room was clean and the ac worked just fine. All of the staff at the front desk was so kind a very helpful. We loved our bartender Jesse! He...

We stayed two nights here and had a few issues. We went for the cheap rooms which turned out to be a cottage with two adjoining rooms. I'm glad it was good friends sharing the other side, because It would be weird hearing everything a stranger said. The shower took forever to get warm. I ended up with a cold...

Midas is Ideally located down town San Ignacio Town and safely secluded couple minutes walking distance from the bustling Twin Town. Their rooms are very clean, comfortable and budget-minded. Their meals are deliciously served by local cooks. The Pool along with the Bar along the patio makes it a beckoning and serene one especially on a hot humid day.

This has been our central resort while we travel around the many attractions of this area. Even though we own land not far away, we always stay here for the convienience and comfort. What use to be just cabanas, now this resort has a beautiful pool and many different levels of amenities. We Love this place.

This place wasn't anything special, but for what we paid it's about right. We paid $35/night (American dollars) including fees for their "standard room" which was basically a small room with a shared bathroom across the hall. I maybe would've paid $50/night for this, but it wasn't worth any more. The last couple of nights we ended up getting upgraded...
