I recently stayed at Jungle Hut resorts and was pleasantly surprised about friendly and welcoming Phil and his wife Rebecca were. The resort is located right next to the river and has good access to the centre of town. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. Jungle Huts provided us with information about the town and surroundings. There is not...

Lovely plantings in gardens, great food, warm and caring owners and staff, clean cabin with lovely verandah. Although close to the center of Dangriga it is secluded and quiet. We especially enjoyed our time in Dangriga itself - a great place to get a feeling for the culture of Belize. We also took a trip to Barquadier Falls in the...

My wife and I stayed at Jungle Huts for a week while serving on a mission trip. Overall, I would recommend staying there because of the service and wonderful food. Nessie (the chef) is absolutely amazing. I had no expectations as far as accommodations go, because I was traveling on a mission trip. If you are expecting an all-inclusive resort...

We stayed at Jungle Huts Resort with a group of 12 on a mission trip for one week. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to help with any needs and requests that we had. The food was delicious! We ate at the resort for breakfast and dinner. Our first room had a leak in the ceiling...

We arrived in dangriga fairly late at night having stayed on the cays and planning to fly off to the uk the next day. I expect most people are in dangriga for the same sort of reasons as it isn't really a holiday place itself although is very interesting to wander around and very different from touristy places in Belize....

I brought a student group from the U.S. to this place. To start the dining room had no lights and the food was disgusting. The rooms were completely unacceptable. Most of the AC was non functioning, Bug larva and black mold on the sheets. Also, the cats and his kids were laying on the tables watching TV. Rat feces and...

The group we had visit us from the US, was obviously one group of people you can not please. The fact that we took pleasure in taking the time out to prepare for their arrival and also making reservation with a cultural group, as requested by the group coordinator, for that they showed absolutely no appreciation. Therefore the supper which...

The cabana was cute with nice porch, had cold water and no handle on the inside of the door to the bathroom, so once you closed the door the person in the main room had to let you out. The wireless only worked in the restaurant area. Phil is charming and really wanted to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately his...

We arrived in the late afternoon to find the place in a bit of disarray, and the staff there had little idea about which room we were meant to be in, or if any of the rooms were even ready. They were unfriendly, unapologetic and we were getting close to heading off to find somewhere where they actually wanted our...
