We stayed 4 nights at Maya Beach Hotel in the King Conch cabana and it was heaven on earth! The beach is wonderful -- powdery, white sand and beautiful clear water. We couldn't believe how close our cabana was to the water. The beach was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on our deck and never had a problem finding...

No complaints here. Excellent staff and decent food. Comfortable beds and nice pool. Stayed there several times and can't wait to again. we've stayed in 2 different times and both were luxurious. The apartment was large and Kingfisher Suite on the beach was worth every penny.

Maya Beach Hotel is about 8 miles north of the town of Placencia. It is in a section of the peninsula that is quiet, yet has several good restaurants, a pizzeria/bowling alley, and a grocery store within walking distance. They have bicycles to use for free if you want to go on a longer excursion, but you have to be...

My wife and I love to travel the world and see the beauty God left everywhere for us to enjoy. Our Honeymoon cruise stopped at Belize, so I had researched it before our wedding, but we ended up snorkeling off the coast rather than going in country, and I've always wanted to see more of this beautiful country. We've been...

We found this gem of place and are so thankful we did! The owners and staff make you feel welcomed and at home-attentive to your every need. The bistro has a fabulous menu and each dish we savored. Leaving I am sure we gained weight but so thankful for the opportunity. The peanut brittle ice cream pie and cacoa pork...

On a whim, at the last minute, my partner and I decided to take up my friend's offer to share two room's at the Maya Beach Hotel. One of the few really good choices I've made in my life. The room, on the second floor of the main building, had a large deck, with a L shaped wicker couch and...

We loved our stay at Maya Beach! We were there during the slow season and felt like we were the only ones there, many times. We had the little Dreamsicle studio, with a pool literally right outside our door, but only steps from the beach. We didn't realize we would have a double bed and would have preferred a larger...

I had the honeymoon suite which I did not know when booking. I traveled there alone. Everything was excellent and I am hard to please. I took the bus into Placencia town for $1 US. A taxi cost $20 US. The food was to die for. I ate 3 meals a day except if on an excursion. The hotel has...

This was a last minute booking for 1 night & wish we could've stayed longer. It's so peaceful & beautiful there. We stayed in the King Conch which sits right on the beach with amazing sunrises. Had breakfast at their restaurant twice & it was yummy! Loved the atmosphere at this hotel/restaurant. Would definitely stay there again!

My brother had stayed here twice before, so had to try. We stayed in the Coconut Room, that has 2 bedrooms with a fridge for families. Large balcony where you can lay out on the sofa & watch the stars. Also the room faces the beach, where you can watch the sunrise on your balcony while sipping comped coffee in...
