The facility and rooms are very nice. Service and food are good. Watching crocodiles at night is a lot of fun. Go out on a boat and look for their eyes. You will see them and have an opportunity to get close. Bird watching is very good here. Go to the Lamanai Ruins. They are one of my favorites. Love...

We were there with a birding tour, so the outdoors was our principal interest, not the amenities. Room was very comfortable, with ceiling fan, nice shower, big bed, and plenty of room for all our stuff. Meals had a local emphasis, not luxurious but yummy. A moderately steep hike from the dock and cabanas to the dining hall might be...

This lodge offers a great all round holiday experience. Great accommodation, lovely food (no chance of going Hungary here) and a great variety of activities. I think what also makes this lodge so great is the staff. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We could have happily spent a more nights here.

What an amazing place! The wildlife, the people and the beauty of the place are spectacular. Our family of four (two adults, two kids aged 10-14) visited around New Years in 2016/17 and again in 2014/15. We found the place magical and can’t wait to come back. The incredible thing about Laminai Outpost Lodge is that the action for all...

All the staff were excellent and we were very impressed that one person though profoundly deaf was treated by all his colleagues as an integral team member. During our 5 day stay we visited the fantastic Mayan temples (twice).a ruined sugar factory and took part in nature walks and birding trips by day and night on land and water.Oh and...

The Outpost Lodge is beautifully set (and set-up) for lots of treks and boat trips out into the wilderness. The terrain is incredible - millions...

We had a lagoon view room. Honestly, there is enough landscaping and natural beauty all rooms are probably fine. You couldn't see the lagoon that well from inside the room due to the low hanging palapa roof. But, that was not a problem just an observation. From the porch chair or hammock, great view. Rooms are beautiful Belizean hardwood, very...

The journey to this lodge involved an hour in a car from the airport then an hour or so in a boat. This second half was the beginning of an amazing three days of birdwatching, and would have been worth the trip alone. We saw three ospreys before we even reached our destination! The lodge itself is not luxurious (no...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our honeymoon and what can I say? Lamanai outpost is exceptional! You can choose 2 activities per night you stay so there's always plenty to do! We especially loved the medicine walk/village experience with Brenda which was very interesting finding out about the uses of all the...
