Punta Gorda is an odd little town that didn't give me the best vibe, but we needed to stay here in transit on route to Honduras. St Charles Inn is a great spot for an overnight stay. The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless. The aircon worked well and the shower was great. Whatever cleaner they used for...

Stayed for three nights. Appreciated the great air conditioner, fridge and microwave. Bed was reasonably comfortable. The property is fenced and secure. Gardens well maintained. The owner is very friendly. I suggested a coffee maker in the room and he seemed receptive to the idea. Enjoy your stay.

This was a nice place to say for the price! It was always clean, and super close to everything in Punta Gorda. The people who worked there were also great to talk to! I would stay here again whenever I go back!

Nice and clean rooms and friendly Owner and Staff. Located in the center of town. Internet connection was ok but could be faster. I will definitely stay here again when I return. I also like the hammocks.

I was GRANDPAcking in Punta Gorda for 2 nights. I stayed at the St Charles. I booked a Double Room with aircon using BOOKIING.COM and paid BZ$95 / night (US$47.50). The room had 2 double beds and was clean and tidy. It came with fridge, Cable TV and a hot water ensuite. I booked 2 nights because we were arriving...

Clean rooms, AC and cable TV. Recommended for travelers interested in the adventures outside rather than room service. My wife and I stayed overnight and felt safe wandering about the town. The staff is friendly and it's affordable.

We stayed 3 nights for our Visa Run. The AC was really good in the room and has great wifi available. Also has cable TV and the beds are a decent size, comfortable, and clean. Staff were very polite and friendly. St Charles, the original owner, was very helpful and chatty. The manager was also very good to deal with....

Location, location, location! The hotel is centrally located in the old town of PG, only couple of blocks from the Immigration/Customs/boats. We stayed only 2 nights in Punta Gorda. I can't really say that I loved the town or how things run in Belize, but the hotel was very nice. It's a budget accomodation: our double beds room was on...

This is a four star rating in context with the price. It is not fancy. Punta Gorda is hot and humid during the rainy season and most people will need air conditioning. The St Charles offers a supremely clean room with private bath and purified water for drinking. It also has air conditioning. You can easily walk to anywhere that...
