A clean, well-worn hotel with a very friendly owner and night manager and scenic views of the ocean from the balcony outside the restaurant or the small balcony on the top floor. We were on the fourth floor, which is QUITE a schlep, but our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the AC, shower and toilet all worked great. Not sure I would have liked it when the restaurant/bar was open - it's right there under the rooms and would probably be loud - but it's closed, sadly, because of the pandemic. But it means that, at night, you can go buy some beer and sit out on that beautiful, empty terrace and watch the moon on the water. Our room's bathroom got a bit ripe after 24 hours - something in the plumbing that may be just for this hotel or all over Punta Gorda. You will therefore want to have it cleaned daily (and the cleaning staff is super nice). Easy walk into downtown for food and provisions. No drinking water provided on the fourth floor, so make sure you buy some for your room. The owner let us park our motorcycles under the stairs and they were usually hidden by a car parked in front - it felt very safe and secure. We walked throughout downtown and this seems to be the best place to stay in Punta Gorda, which has definitely seen better days. But it was the quiet respite we needed during our two weeks in Belize.

We had a kitchenette room with all the amenities. Room was clean, had a view from the balcony. Nice courtyard in front to relax. Free coffee at reception in the morning. Across the street is a dock for your use. Probably the best place to stay in Punta Gorda.

Lovely on-site cafe with good food and coffee; beautiful outdoor hammock overlooking the ocean was my favorite indulgence for some solitude; rooms are classic PG with open air balconies and mission feel; staff is warm and helpful; time of year was perfect - no bugs and no humidity!

The rooms are spacious and clean although some of the items are a bit rusty (such as the mini-fridge). The hotel doesn't scream luxury but the rooms come with AC, hot & cold shower and cable TV. The cost is a bit on the high end but still very affordable. There's no breakfast and the restaurant isn't opened all week. The wi-fi works really well, with download speeds of 30-40 mbps! This is my new hotel choice when travelling to PG.

For the last six years I have stayed at Sea Front Inn for at least one of not the entire time that I’m in Punta Gorda. The views from the balcony and constant breeze from the ocean in the common areas make for a great place to relax in the hammock and read or catch a nap. Beds are comfortable and staff is great. They’ve got WiFi and TVs, free bikes and kayaks for guests to use and there’s even a little coffee shop and eatery on the third floor. Right next door is great place to grab eats, drinks and even listen to some great local musicians play.

We have been visiting PG for about 15 years and have stayed here EVERY year. We would never want to stay anywhere else. The food and hospitality is amazing along with great rooms. If you are staying in PG, this is the only place you should stay!

Best shower taken in the 2 weeks stay in Belize. Hotel was kind of awkward but room had coffee maker and fridge. Only 10 minute walk to ferry, better have Belizean cash for that. Bar next door, rainforest reggae was great and got to see a full moon rising from deck.

This place is the best value for your dollar that you will find. We had 55 people in our group filling all of the rooms and the staff were incredibly hospitable and gracious. The food was pretty incredible for six nights in a row - thank you Kat! Security was great too!
