This little hidden spot was quite a surprise! Rooms were clean and comfortable, quite relaxing after a long day on the road. The grounds were well kept and had visible signs pointing directions. I am a birder and got up early to find a few birds around. Between 6am and breakfast at 7am, I logged 52 species!!! Breakfast was well... More

This lodge lives up to its name: peaceful road. We truly relaxed in a very comfortable room sleeping to the sounds of nature to soothe us to sleep. Rusty and Sheila are gracious hosts who treat you like family. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. We added the dinner option which was also outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice lodge, AC, TV, Bedroom, and different size beds in the lodge. In the middle of the jungle, with a nice swimming hole 2 minutes into the bush. We had a great breakfast prepared for us and enjoyed our stay. Great place to relax and enjoy the jungle!

I organize groups of volunteers working in the Mayan villages. We have been staying at the lodge since 2012. At times our group of 20 took up the entire lodge. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Lee and Suzy even helped us prepare materials for elementary school activities and assemble water filters for families without clean water. Lee had... More

Our stay here turned out to be far below our expectations. The advertised "swimming hole" is not swimmable at all. It is still water, dirty, and has a stench. The owners pretended to be friendly but lied directly to our face in order to make money. Do not book any kind of travel, taxis or excursions through them. You can... More

Well maintained property about 9 miles inland from PG. Cabins are really nice, clean and comfortable. Nice owner, willing to help you decide what to do in the area. I recommend having a car if you stay here, but using the bus could work.

We loved everything about Tranquility Lodge! The casita was heavenly, very clean and the view was amazing! My stay there was amazing, it was very quiet and relaxing. We cant wait to go back! The owner was amazing, always had coffee waiting for us in the mornings. This lodge is in the perfect location. Tucked away in the jungle but... More

We loved our experience at Tranquility Lodge. Very beautiful setting. I loved staying in our casita. It was very rustic and loved the atmosphere. They have nature trails and a swimming hole on the property and it is not far from town. The owner was great! Very accommodating. It was easy to book adventures and tours.

This is a delightful place to stay with very comfortable rooms, a great breakfast and a very amenable host. Comfortable beds, free wifi, beautiful plants outside the door and a peaceful swimming hole nearby. The owner gave us lots of time, attention and info about some really great venues near by. Stayed in a large room, attached to the lodge. It was very clean, comfortable; and allowed us to experience the sights and sounds, nestled in the jungle. The grounds were beautiful and well kept - and trails throughout the jungle area led to a swimming hole. Lee was a perfect host - ensuring we were well fed at breakfast, cooking... More
