I wish I had more time here! Each “room” is its own private villa with kitchens and stunning views of the lake. Each villa is spread out across the property with privacy. The breakfast provided was light but perfect and brought to your room each morning. Be sure to go down to

One of my favorite spots in Atitlan. Service is awesome, cabin is beautiful and view is perfect. They may need a bit of entertainment or water sports supplies, but it’s perfect. Owner/host is so kind and respectful! The people around are kind and attentive. Breakfast

After an interesting few days exploring all there is to see, ruins, Antigua, marketplaces, etc., our guide recommended we spend a couple of nights at Villas B’alam ya on Lake Attitlan. It was so peaceful, tranquil, and enjoyable. Indeed the perfect respite to busy sight seeing.

I had been wanting to see Antigua in Guatemala and I read that as long as I went through all the effort to go there I must go to Lake Atitlan. I started researching where to stay and what to do and only became more confused. A couple of years later I had heard that National

Our villa (Jade) was awesome! We loved the split floor plan and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bed was one of the best we've slept on in Central America and I enjoyed several hot baths in the clawfoot tub (a huge treat in this part of the world). he

Dear guest: Thank you for contact us, will be a pleasure host you! Here is some information: - a continental breakfast is included in the price of the villa, their pay options as omelette or Guatemalan typical. -We do not offer cook services for lunch but yes for dinner, Lucia go to your villa and cook for you. We need to know your choices at least 24 hours. Plase, after made your reservation let us know you are interest in this service to send you our menu/prices. -There is also deliver service from Panajachel, 15 minutes from the villas. -We have 4 different villas at the property. Jade Cottage for 2, and B'alam Ya, Bambu and Mirador for 4. The price listed for Bambu and Mirador is for 4 but you can pay the $25 extra for persona. Bambu can accommodate 5 and Mirador until 6 and there is two sofa bed to accommodate this two (possibles) extra guests. -I recommend book Mirador due the house is bigger so you and your guest are going to be more comfortable. Our for villas are like fully equipped houses, with cooking gear and probably everything you may need at your stay. We can pre-stock the villa for you or you can shop at Panajachel. Finnaly, the property is located 15 minutes from Panajachel, close enough to go and shop, visit, etc but far away to feel the privacy and practally enjoy the lake just for you and the few other guest of B'alam Ya. We can call 'tuc-tucs' (moto taxis) boat or taxis and help you to organizas all your trips. I hope this help and please feel free to contact us to our web page. Best regards. We are an active family of 4 ( and 3 of us are scullers). Is there enough to do for 4 nights here?
Thank you for asking. The above comments are very accurate and we share their thoughts. We would recommend a day trip to Chichicastengo on a Thursday or Sunday which is the largest Indingenous Market in Central America. We also recommend that you join us at Panza Verde in Antigua, which is a sister hotel of B'Alam Ya, for a few days as there are many interesting things to do here. We will be happy to give you our ideas if you decide to come to Antigua. Kind regards and please let us know if we can be of further assitance.
