It has been our best hotel experience in Guatemala to date.So much charm. It was like travelling back in time. Also the best shower ever!! We snuggled in and drifted off to the glow and crackling of a lovely fire. In the morning when we stepped out the door we were greeted with a flood of sunlight scented by geraniums...

This is good spot of you want a quality and affordable hotel. It was clean, felt safe, and was right in downtown Xela. For $25, you aren't going to get a better deal. It is not luxury, but it was one step up from a hostel. The great showers stoodd out, and there are breakfast and dinner places within a...

Older colonial type building. Parking spot inside. one block to main square. Nice big supermarket half block away. Plenty of food options close. Bathroom a bit small and old but that does not bother me. I had room facing street in front. Small balcony which I prefer. the noise not too bad at night once traffic dies down. Very nice...

We started coming to this hotel in 1993. Eduardo and his family work hard to keep this place spotless. Their security is exceptional and the location is ideal: Near the Parque Central withoucleaninging directly next to it. The showers are top notch...a big plus in Guatemala. Mostly, it is the incredibly helpful nature of the entire staff that keeps us...

It's in a great location and you can't beat the price! You get what you pay for...if you go in knowing that, then you won't be disappointed! Only takes cash, and be sure to pay at the end of your stay!

We stayed here one night. It's basic, but rooms have bathroom with a good shower, there is wifi and an on-site parking that closes at night. For about 20 US$ it's a good value, The pretty old furniture it well maintained

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed in this hotel. It is very near Parque Central, consequently there is a lot of street noise especially on Saturday night. It is also very close to great dining. The staff is very accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful with lots of flowering plants, carved wooden columns and unique tiling around...

We had a great, I mean great experience until I had noticed my ATM card was jacked from my room. I guess I should know better than to leave stuff like that laying around. A suggestion might be for them to get locked boxes in the rooms to improve safety.

We stayed three nights here, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff very friendly. We had a room at the back which was very quiet. The bathrooms are very small and old and could use some work, but lots of hot water. I would stay there again. We felt very safe.

We got ripped off, but I still cannot but recommend this place because of the location, the price 160 quetzales a night for a double, nice clean room, and the nice balcony. However, I've done a lot of traveling and the last time this happened was 15 years ago in India so I knew better, but I guess I got...
