Stayed at pirates den for a week in January. Our host Phillip helped us with anything we needed to know about the island- where to go, how to get around and how to be safe. The rooms are clean, safe and bright. We got a room with a kitchen and were able to cook up great feasts! Walking distance to...

Pirate's Den is a great little getaway & close to everything. Phillip & Pandy are wonderful hosts & very accomadating. It's clean, quiet & rustically charming. There's also access to private beach. The rooms are $40/night or $50 if you want breakfast included.

After booking at another establishment, and seeing what was on offer for the money paid, we were very disheartened, and so decided to venture elsewhere. When we arrived at pirates den, not only was it far superior to anywhere else we'd looked at, the service provided by Pandy and Phillip was unrivalled and it was by far the best value...

The nice owner of Hobbies Hideaway (where I stayed the week before) took me there since he did not have room for me. I truly liked being here. Sylvia and Phillip are very charming. Phillip provides a lot of information and is truly...

Pirates Den is a great place to relax and unwind. Philip and Sylvia made sure that we were comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The view from the lounge is spectacular and the gardens are full of exotic tropical plants. The restaurant was not open when we were there, but our suite had a full size kitchen so we...

The staff was really nice. Sylvia and Phillip are really good people and conversational. They will though respect your silence. We went as a large group from a major university in Pennsylvania, and they accommodated us. They catered to all our needs and made sure we were ok at all times. Thanks guys, and hope to see you again! S.D.

The staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet. Beach is right next to property and there are some good snorkeling spots within a 15 minute walk. The included breakfast was great and different local dishes were served daily.

The pirates den offered a safe and applicable living atmosphere while still being right in the middle of all the culture the island of roatan has to offer without any sacrafice.
