This was my husband and Is first time in roatan and we LOVED camp bay lodge. We texted with Chris before our arrival and he gave great suggestions and he set up a ride for us from the airport. We arrived to the airport and Wilfredo was there holding a sign with our names! He also stopped at the fully stocked grocery store and we got some essentials. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the lodge and it’s very remote. When we arrived to the lodge Jill greeted us and told us everything we needed to know. We were staying the first week of November and there ended up being a storm the entire time we were there which made us not be able to do much but the staff were kind and made us so much delicious food and drinks

We come to Camp Bay every weekend. It’s my favorite way to relax and wind down. Nessa’s and Whitney's smiling faces serve us the best cold drinks and delicious healthy food. I love the Buddha bowl. Then take a dip in the refreshing ocean , grab a hammock and …..

Gorgeous beach and waters with super cute rooms. Owners were away on vacation while we were there, so no yoga - assume the shore would have been raked and things a little cleaner if they had been around. Also, don’t look too closely at the dock pilings… some might need attention, but the dock is beautiful and feels solid. Despite these disclaimers, this place still deserves, with a little faith in the owners, a four star review. Restaurant/bar on-site makes delicious food and drinks. The rum PUNCH definitely packs one! We kept thinking about how perfect this place would be for a destination wedding. Very private and intimate - feels like you have your own beach (except on Sundays when 20 locals suddenly make it feel crowded). If you want crowds, a wild party atmosphere, and/or all the creature comforts, stay on the West end. If you want beautiful, low key class with a chance to meet some locals who love the area and would prefer to see it keep its beauty and charm, this is your place.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Roatan, look no further. Staying at Camp Bay Lodge was easily the highlight of our trip. Location: We moved around the island during our trip and found this to be the best area to stay by far. It's very peaceful and not super touristy like many other areas. Having a car is helpful. Hotel: Beautiful setting right on the beach. The rooms are well decorated and many open up to the ocean. For the price, it is a fantastic deal. Food: The food here is excellent, as are the drinks. We ended up eating most of our meals at the hotel, which is unusual for us as we love trying new restaurants. Activities: Between kitesurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, diving, yoga, and massages there is plenty to do here. The staff can help you arrange other tours as well. Other guests: We found this place attracted really cool travelers and the common areas promote conversation. We made plenty of friends during our stay. Staff: The staff here is amazing. They are all incredibly kind people. We spent a lot of time with the owner, Chris, during our stay and found him to be an amazing person. He cares so much about his guests and made an effort to get to know everyone staying there. We didn't get to meet his wife, but she seems awesome too. We were sad to leave after making so many great friends. It is a memory we will never forget!

Camp Bay Lodge is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Very quiet and private, right on a gorgeous beach. The staff is exceptional and will go out of their way to make your stay great, help you book excursions, or entertain you with conversation. The owner introduced himself and gave tons of great advice on where to go/what to do in Roatan. The food here is fresh and delicious - same for the cocktails! We took a walk along the beach and didn't see anyone for more than half the 1.5 mile stroll. Highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for a lovely retreat off the beaten path but with all the conveniences you'd expect in an urban location.

If you are looking for a place to unplug and unwind then this is the place. Located on a beautiful beach, Camp Bay Lodge is made up of a group of cottages with their own private decks . The partner/owners have amazing energy and they both are experts in their own fields - kitesurfing and healing work. Make sure to book a massage as well as a kitesurfing class. The cook, Miss Rachel, makes the most delicious omelettes and hummus and Nessa mixes up delicious smoothies and fresh fruit drinks. All of this is done with true island warmness and hospitality. This is the place to be if you truly want to relax .

Camp Bay is a beautiful hidden gem. Its tucked away far from the hussle and bussle of the west end. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy some quiet, it is very much worth the drive. The Lodge was clean and simply but nicely decorated. The rooms have fans and louvered windows so you can take advantage of that nice wind coming off the ocean in the evenings. The restaurant and bar have so much to enjoy. My partner and I are vegan and had no trouble. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options and they will make a vegan breakfast as part of your stay each day. The food and drinks are priced fairly. Drinks are delicious and strong! ;) All the staff are amazing and so kind. My partner and I were genuinely sad to leave. I highly recommend getting a boat tour over to Port Royal through the mangrove forest. There are some really great snorkle spots there. If you like hiking, ask for a guided tour up the ridge from Larry. You will see an incredible view from the top of the entire island and Larry will treat you with stories and history the whole way along.

My family (wife, daughters 14&15) and myself stayed here in mid June. Awesome place, forget the west end..... this place is the bomb. Chris, the host, and his staff do a great job and make sure everything is A+. Kiting, diving (dive shop next door is superb, Dive Pangea) day trip to Oakridge for a water taxi through the mangrove. Beach is amazing and the VIBE is just super chill all around.Restaurant on site was always spot on, breakfast/lunch/dinner.Go to La Sirena,or La Champa for dinner if you want all good, but the food at the lodge never disappoints. Thanks Chris for everything!!

I live in West End Roatan and recently had some friends come and visit me. We spent 2 nights in Camp Bay Lodge to explore the East end of the island. The rooms were clean and cool, service was great and the staff were super friendly. You can tell that every detail about the lodge is considered with care and love. I absolutely loved my stay there and will be coming back frequently every time i have friends visiting, or maybe just by myself!
