My group of 8 just returned from Roatan last week. I must say I was worried about things I had read before going but was pleasantly surprise. First of all people must remember this is an island and there's not all the comforts of home, but that's why I travel to experience other cultures. The cabana's were clean & comfortable,...

This is a great place to go if you like to dive as the dive shop and the dive crew are very good and will be happy to make sure you are having a good time and they will take great care off you as you dive. The boat is clean and safe. If you get a boat dive package...

I also just returned from this resort March 3rd and it was Fantastic. It was 30 minutes away from the airport, the island is only 22 mile long and about 8 miles wide so EVEYTHING is close in a manner of speaking so I don't really understand how nothing is around. I guess cabs are expensive in comparison to other...

Hi, my husband and I just returned from Roatan on Monday March 3, 2014. I would just like to let people know how we felt about this place. First of all let me say I know people in general take these opinions written lightly but there are truths to what I am writing. Be aware that this place is not...

Over the years we had become accustomed to the large resort with everything under the sun going on. We would have a great time but come home exhausted needing another vacation. Media Luna...

My wife and i stayed with another couple at the Media Luna early February 2014. We had a marvelous time. The staff were friendly , the food good, and the snorkeling amazing. We stayed in unit S5 which was a great location for snorkeling as it is right next to the dive shop and had an extensive veranda on which...

The airport in Roatan is small, there was a line up on arrival as 2 planes arrived at the same time but it maybe took us about half an hour from getting off the plane to getting our luggage. No big deal. There were drivers from the resort waiting for us as soon as we got outside, it took approx....

Our choice regarding Honduras was very spontaneous but what we actually encountered was certainly surprisingly amazing ! My husband and another couple decided to spend a week in this beautiful , idyllic location from feb 17-24... Our stay was spectacular. The cabanas are in very nicely shaded areas and there is a great amount of privacy which makes the experience...

My husband and I spent a week at Media Luna the week of February 17th. This was our second time to Roatan. Four years ago we stayed at the Mayan Princess which is located on West Bay. Media Luna is located on the south-east side of the island, past French Harbour. It is a very idyllic, but isolated location. Like...
