I signed up for a yoga retreat that didn't happen (no fault of Paya Bay's). So I ended up travelling alone. The staff and owners could not have been more lovely. The food is absolutely fantastic, better than most 5 star resorts. What I really appreciated was how welcoming the family who owns Paya is. I even was invited to... More

What a lovely resort on a spectacular setting. With over 99 percent of the world's organized beaches requiring swimwear, the less than 1 percent of c/o beaches need to be cherished and supported. We absolutely dissolved into the jungle-like setting and sun-drenched, clothing-optional Bliss Beach and chilled out with fresh drinks from the Black Iguana beach bar daily. While a... More

This is really a nice, intimate, family-run, boutique resort. We really enjoyed ourselves during our week stay. The walking paths are well designed and the primary beach (Bliss) is quite nice. The nearby snorkeling is good, too. The owners are very nice and the staff is amazing (a-maz-ing). I don't think we've ever been treated better. Even though it was... More

We say Paya Bay's offer for a day-trip. from our Royal Caribbean stop at Roatan and decided to do it. It was really a great idea. The driver met us at the specified time and took us (and others from our ship) to the resort where we had all morning and part of the afternoon to enjoy the facilities. The... More

Beautiful does not begin to describe this place. We booked online for a day pass on our last cruise. We knew that the drive was estimated to be roughly 45 minutes. We were picked up just outside of the cruise dock....which was just about a 3 minute walk from where the pier shopping area was. Our drivers name was Juan.... More

We visited Paya Bay Two years ago for lunch. When we came back to Roatan, Paya Bay was on our agenda. We are leaving today after 3 amazing days. We met new friends, had some great fun and we really enjoy the nude beaches. The staff is top notch. The owner recognized from 2 years ago and welcomed us back.... More

Went down to finalize construction of our place on Roatan. Spent our last day at Paya just unwinding which is what this place does to you. Great room, food, people, location. It's all there. Reef is beautiful, grounds are impeccable, views amazing.

I found this piece of paradise while looking for an excursion while on a cruise to western Caribbean. It turned out to be the best day of vacation we ever had. The 20 plus acres situated on the east end of the island are stunning. The day started off with Michelle, who was the owners grand daughter picking us up... More

We just spent an amazing week at Paya Bay, and at least once every day we said that we were in paradise! It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. This is definitely the place to be if you want to rekindle the romance in your marriage. The property is designed to offer many secluded hideaways around the... More
