A few comments on Deep Blue The hosts, Steve, Jasmine, and Shirley are great. Steve is a wealth of information about the area, the ocean, and what we can do to save it. You will come home informed and maybe active. They are very tuned in to the needs of divers and are very experienced in that area. They also...

Just returned from Deep Blue and would go back in a minute. Steve and Jasmine "owners" went out of there way to make this one great trip. There had been some foul weather come through just before my arrival and made for some tuff diving, visability was pretty bad most of the week. Our dive master Matt was extremley knowledgeable...

Stunning, that is what I say. We stayed at Deep Blue for 2 weeks there were about 12 other guests there, I can honestly say from the moment we arrived I have never been so well looked after. First morning, we were told to leave our dive gear outside our room, after this we never had to touch our dive...

This property promotes itself as a Resort, but aside from it being at a tropical location, it is quite bare bones. The rooms are basic and reminiscent of motel rooms. It does not include the amenities you would expect at a resort: the sheets were rough, the AC barely cooled our room on highest setting, and no beach towels are...

Great diving operation with Matt and Swin on the good ship "Wall Nut". Even though we did not get to see the "mythical" Whale Sharks, we made multiple dives with Matt on most of the southern sites. He took the time to show us how to look for and identify most of the tropical fish, coral, and other "unusual bottom...

Jasmine & Steve Dale run a great dive resort. Jasmine is a terrific hostess that cooks you three meals a day. Her cooking skills are great and there is always enough (too much!) food. Steve is great to spend the evening talking to over a couple of cocktails and will entertain you with all of his stories. The two dive...

We stayed at Deep Blue during their Whale Shark research period this year (2007) , I do not think we could have asked for a better vacation having over 20 encounters with Whale Sharks. The diving was fantastic, rooms are spacious and clean and the food is good, apart from that the staff are exceptional, always attentive. Their normal divemaster...

I just returned from a week of diving at the Deep Blue Resort in Utila. It was a great experience and I recommend the resort to travelers looking for comfortable accommodations and serious, spectacular diving. The diving was terrific. The dive facilities and dock are behind the resort on a lagoon. The rental equipment looked brand new. The dive master,...

February 2007. My wife and I have had the good fortune to dive all over the world and the Deep Blue Dive Resort in Utila was one of our best trips. We would highly recommend for anyone interested in diving to stay with Deep Blue. The dive masters were very ecologically concerned about the environment and definitely tried to make...
