Totally loved this place. Was just in Copan to see the ruins, and it was absolutely perfect - next time I'm staying longer for sure. Terrific, friendly staff - who also arranged a very easy airport transfer from San Pedro Sula - and a really charming, while also clean and lovely, space. Gorgeous views from the balcony, too!

Service, location, amenities, landscaped setting... flawless. Cold face/hand towels in the fiery afternoons, gourmet breakfasts, and snacks hacen en casa, made in house. Health and nutrition oriented, excellent, affordable massage beneath tented pavilion, walk to everything, helpful staff and owners, everything first class. Six suites, 5 and 6 have the views, 4 and 5 are upstairs, too. One and two...

I've traveled through many parts of Central and South America, and this was arguably the most wonderful place I've ever stayed. Every one of the staff members is exceptionally warm, efficient, and personable; ideal location two minutes walk from the central park and all good restaurants/bars/tourist info; the place itself is quiet, serene, clean, and absolutely stunning. I watched the...

I am part of a mission team that has traveled to Copan for the past nine years. Since finding this gem, we will stay no where else! Howard and Angela have trained their staff to be superb! From Mariana greeting us with her wonderful smile and cold towels after our hard work in the mountain villages, to Mirza and Luz...

Terramaya is a place which confirms ones belief in the essential goodness of people. Behind a simple street door lies a small hotel which is friendly and immaculately maintained. Breakfasts are wonderful- and eaten on the terrace overlooking the gently sloping garden. Staff are all excellent - notably Marianna who provided advice about the next day's activities in and around...

A friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Terramaya for a night last week. The place is immaculate. We were positive it was brand new from the crisp cleanness of everything, and we were surprised to find out it had actually been there for several years. The service was exceptional. Owner Howard and his kind receptionist helped us...

This was our second stay at Terramaya. The welcome is warm from the moment you enter and the attention of the staff to the guests is second to none. I love the simplistic charm of the hotel and the rooms. The food is locally sourced or made in house and the tranquil environment of the gardens or back porch is...

Unbelievable experience at this boutique hotel. Delicious breakfasts, overlooking a beautifully manicured garden, with gorgeous vistas of Honduran hills in background. Everything about this hotel is top flight--especially the dedicated staff who treat you like family and cater to your every need with a hospitable spirit. We spent three nights at Terramaya. The owners and staff of Terramaya went far above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. Our visit started with delicious cold fruit and chilled towels upon arrival. They gave us maps directing us to wherever we wanted to go. They checked on vegan-friendly restaurants for us, and always greeted us after our...
