Lived in Copan for 2 months so got to know many of the restaurants and hotels there. That is why I decided that this was an amazing place for an engagement dinner! The food & beverage manager Ricardo was incredible from his attitude and the attention to detail. It was such a great experience (perfect), that we decided to return...

a large hotel occupying a block just on the main square, not that Copan Ruinas is much of a town, nothing is beyond a few minutes walk and the Mayan site only a km away. Great potential but we felt that it should have been better; nice gardens, the pool waterfall was being restored so closed, rooms very adequate but...

We were in Honduras since December 18th but on the end of our trip we decided to go to Copan for a couple of days, since we have never been. Since it was right after new years day, we could not find a hotel room easily, as I searched on TripAdvisor for a hotel..no lie the ones we wanted were...

I glanced through the 3-star reviews and, with due respect to other's commentaries, for a hotel in a small town (in the middle of nowhere) this place is a 5-star place to stay. My wife & I stayed there as part of a small guided tour with Gate1 and it was a perfect location, right in the few-block long main...

Went to Copan in October to visit the Copan Ruinas and stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel Marina Copan.....the location was perfect.....you could walk to wherever you wanted to go...shop downtown, lunch, dinner..etc....and then you had the motorcycle taxis to take you to places you didn't want to walk to....the staff was very helpful and the rooms were very...

We were on a tour of Maya ruins and Copan was the final site on the trip. Of all the places we stayed, the Hotel Marina Copan was the most delightful, comfortable and enjoyable. We had a lovely room with a small sitting space/balcony, a queen size pillow top bed in a sizeable room. The room had been renovated relatively...

Hotel Còpan Marina is an excellent hotel. Large nicely accented rooms make for a very comfortable stay. Pool, restaurant, bar and lots of areas to sit and relax add to the enjoyment. Located a few meters from Parque Central allows one to walk to cafés, shops, restaurants etc. It is not a budget hotel, but I believe it is fairly...

We stayed here 2 nights in order to visit the Mayan city of Copan and it was a very pleasant stay .The hotel is very central and is deceiving from the outside as you just think it is a normal hotel building. However the reception opens up to a courtyard with pool and small waterfall and corridors (with water features)...

The hotel is lovely and as a hotel would have rated as excellent had it not been for the ROWDY GUESTS in Room 333 (we were in 332) who decided to make so much noise at 4.00 am on 28/10/13 that the intention must have been to wake all other guests-they did this on the open balcony outside our room...

This hotel is clean, beautiful, has great service, and is in a prime location. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pool is stunning, and well maintained. The drink and breakfast prices are very reasonable.
