My husband and I ended up staying one night at La Delphina due to the ferry out to Utilia not operating due to weather. Richard was a wonderful host. His hotel is clean and cozy. Because there wasn't much to do because of the rain he even took 5 of us staying at the hotel into town to visit the... More

Richard the owner is very welcoming! The staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home. The food was delicious, I would very much recommend the "breaded shrimp" although they are more like breaded jumbo shrimp! The boat to cayos cochinos picks you up right at the beach in front of the hotel. Great value for the money.... More

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Nothing fancy but the meals were good and there's a nice beachfront porch to relax on. There's not much around the facility so you need to get a ride to La Ceiba. We did take a snorkeling/lunch boat excursion from La Delphina which was great. You wade out into the... More

A very relaxing stay here after a long flight from UK. Richard the owner is extremely hospitable and made sure that I was well looked after. I only stayed 1 night and the hotel was empty but the food was very good, the beer flowed a little too well and the conversation at the bar well past midnight! Woke up... More

Lobster dinner on the beach...very affordable, wonderful host and servers. Extraordinary view, terrific playtime in the ocean. I recommend the hammocks. For a relaxing, tasty adventure, go to Delphina's for lunch or dinner. Or, really, if you want a breakfast Bloody Mary. Yum!

This place is a perfect example of what is good about the internet. Without Tripadvisor and other travel sites , there is no way you would ever be able to find this place. Richard picked us up at the Utila ferry dock...and transported us to the airport the next day. Made our visit and transportation fun and effortless. The hotel... More
