I should have checked reviews before comming to this hostel! Apart of what the reviews say about poor cleaning and noise, it turned out to be the worst experience I had in a hostel during my 11 months trip. I stayed in the dormitory, which is a bunch of beds disposed along a corridor! It was just me in the...

Stayed for one night in April. Lonely planet information is incorrect and hostel is not at address given. Taxi eventually found it though. Stayed in a private room, first room was clearly not clean from last guests so changed to another. Booked jungle river lodge rafting with free nights accommodation for the next day through the hostel as we thought...

Took almost 30mins to find the place as the origial place was closed and when I asked the locals no one knew where it was! When I got there was charged $10 for a Dorm room but there was No Room as the 10-12 beds were in a corridor area open to All, No lockers at all. The Shared bathroom...

Normally I am not an review writer but I just landed at this hostel and am surprised in a negative way, no backpacker atmosphere, just a normal very basic hostel with no extra like a socialising room, now reading all the terrible reviews I feel like "urgh, should have checked before" and the dorm price of 12$ is surprisingly high...actually I...

We tried to stay here, but figured they have bed bugs in the middle of the night. The owner left already with our money, and the night guard was not really helpful getting our money back. We figured they are already aware of the problem and just ignore it. They have the bugs in every room, dorm and privates. DON'T...

Unhelpful staff who were unconcerned with the fact that the toilet and shower were not working due to no running water. Random mattresses shoved in corner of the dorm making it very cramped. Not a pleasant or welcoming atmosphere. Unsure if there are other budget options in La Ceiba but worth trying to find an alternative to this hostel. Agree...

no running water, filthy, toilets and sinks have never been cleaned, bugs everywhere, i'm covered in bites ! The staff knew about the problem too but were not bothered! One of the worst places I have ever had the misfortune of staying.

I and the guy in the bed next to me were having a bad sleep. It was clear we were both being eaten and as we could not hear any mosquitos, nor had we seen any, there was only one conclusion. Investigating the mattresses we found bed bugs crawling in both. I'm writing this now at 1.30am - I've changed...

We've been traveling for 6 months now and this is the worst hostel we've ever stayed in. We found bedbugs in our room, asked for a different room, but when the guy of the hostel turned on the light we saw bedbugs on that bed as well. We ended up checking all beds in the dorms, but we saw the...
