We stayed in a villa. Started off on the wrong foot, the villa did not have electric power and had not been cleaned. After a couple of hours of pressuring management the issues were addressed. Overall setting and concept is nice, there are many instances of items falling into disrepair due to lack of maintenance. We brought our own food...

If you are looking for hotel, after hotel after hotel similar to Mexico then do not go here. This is a pristine and very private location. There is literlly no other resort on the beach. The rooms are very well appointed, large and clean. The have a very spanish flare to them. The Resort Grounds are beautiful, clean and well...

After I had booked my vacation and had already paid for it, I started reading the comments of this place. After reading the one star comments, I was left with mix feelings not expecting a good accommodation. But I was hopping for the best since I noticed that most bad comments were made around 2013. Thank goodness I was right....

First time in Honduras, weather was disappointing, rain 4 out of 7 days and Christmas celebrations a bare minimum. Room spacious and breathtaking views, had a hammock on the balcony and no chairs or table. Beds comfortable, 2 double beds and large wardrobes, but little amount of hangers for clothes. Small flatscreen television, if control not in room it means...

My only complaint is...the 4 wheelers from the Villas racing back and forth to the beach. This was constant. Driving this fast is 1 disturbing. If I wanted to here this I would of stayed home !! Second. There are...

I did not stay at the resort. However, I was able to have lunch and dinner a few times. La Cieba is not a great place but this really made my stay more pleasant. The beach, pool and all you can eat and drink buffet was great! If you come to la Cieba this is the place to stay.
