Have been visiting Honduras for a number of years now, and can't believe I hadn't discovered this gem on prior trips. My girlfriend and I stayed two nights in one of the suites with a great ocean view. Jack, the manager, was very friendly and accommodating. Will hopefully be back some day..

Some friends of ours set a group of us up at Villa Helen's, and I am so glad they did. Located on Caribbean beachfront about 20 minutes outside of La Ceiba, it was close to town, but seemed so far away. All I kept thinking during my stay was how much love and attention went and still goes into the...

Very Nice hotel and restaurant. Everything was clean. Right on the beach. Jack is an excellent host. Stayed a week during a mission trip. Room was comfortable and safe. All the dinners in the restaurant were very good.

We stopped at Helen's on our way to and from Cayos Cochinos. We drove in from San Pedro Sula in the middle of the night and they had a room ready and waiting for us! It was a clean, safe place to catch a few hours of sleep before meeting our boat out to the islands - they picked up...

I recently went to Honduras with a group of friends on Missions trip. Villa Helens is a little bit of a drive outside of La Ceiba, but was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. It was great. We stayed in the "Suites" there was AC and a fully equipped kitchen. There was hot water but it took...

We stayed at Helen's recently and has a great experience! We arrived early, so they didn't have our room ready yet. One of the workers let us keep our stuff in another locked room so we didn't have to haul it around or worry about it. They soon had our room ready and we were pleasantly surprised! The room had...

A really nice beachfront stay in Sambo Creek! We stayed here two nights -- the hotel is ideally situated right on the beach (only about 10 minutes to walk along the beach to the main part of town), with plenty of hammocks, tables and chairs, and shady areas around the swimming pool. The restaurant had good food and the owners...

We were eight family members so needed an affordable place that tolerated kids and had a swimming pool and beach to keep them entertained. Jack and Helen were wonderful hosts and very accommodating. For example, we arrived late one evening and the restaurant was closing but they kept it open for us. The plumbing fixtures are old and the art...

We stayed in a private Villa that was a five minute walk down the beach from Helen's. Whenever we did not feel like cooking our own meals, we would go to Helen's (most days). Jack and Helen went out of their way to welcome us. We were permitted to use their WiFi, and even run up a tab. The food...

Don't stay in La Ceiba, come straight here... Have great day trips & relax in the sun afterwards! Jack and Helen are the nicest, friendliest and are super helpful! The rooms are spacious (hot water and A/C), it's close to cayos cochinos, canopy, you can have great walks on the beach or just take a nap in one of the...
