Had a fab time - white water - jungle trekking and pool!!! Karen a lovely lady and the lodge next door is just great - fab guides who took us down the water! Just sitting in hammock stroking dogs and reading. Loved it!

Alex and Karen are fantastic hosts and Casa Cangrejal is beautiful! Having stayed for only two nights we literally had to tear ourselves away. We felt so relaxed and chilled out the idea of returning back to the real world was a little scary. Its location is perfect to do rafting next door at Omega or just some relaxing walks...

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cangrejal as part of a 3 stop tour of Honduras. As most other reviews mention, Karen and Alex are extremely welcoming and you will adore the home (more like a castle) they've built, full of beautiful stonework and integrated perfectly with the surroundings. Karen was prompt in all of my email correspondence with...

It's hard to point out just a few great things about this place, because every single thing was perfect and exceeded our expectations. It took me a year to write a review, but If you are going to Honduras, don't miss this place. Karen is AMAZING. Great food, awesome atmosphere, great people. What more could you ask for?
