We were in town with our two teenagers and small dog for an event at UGA. To my knowledge, this is one of the nicer, reasonably priced hotels in downtown area that welcomes pets. We've stayed here a couple of times for one or two nights, and found the rooms very comfortable and the entire facility well maintained.

So much potential but one of the worst room decors I've ever seen. The property is wonderfully located and the grounds lovely. But...o my, a four year old could have done a better job. Nothing matches the historical character of the room. I do believe it is furnished with garage sale items.

Dear GaPeach08, Thank you so much for sharing your comments with us! We have received so many great comments about the new, retro decor and we do apologize and understand that it does not "wow" everyone. Most of our interior pictures were procured through our local Georgia State Museum and picked especially for their vintage nature. We are delighted to...

We have stayed here before and after the renovation, at least eight or nine nights. The renovation is charming and clever. The staff is wonderful. The spa is great. The Foundry bar and venue is always fun and lively. I kept hoping that the renovation would have included getting rid of the moldy smell, but it just hasn't happened. We...

What a nice surprise right near downtown Athens. We stayed in a spacious and update suite, complete with a living room, bedroom and spacious bathroom. Love the details - especially the student i.d. styled key card slipped into an old library check out pocket. Awesome!

I should have reviewed the Graduate back in July when we met for a gathering with some out of town family members. However, my experience last week prompted me to write this. I had a work peer traveling to Athens and I planned to meet her for dinner. She was trying to find a room on her way into town...

Visited Athens for one night in late February. As others have noted, this is a converted '60s motel, updated with a modern, retro décor. Great concept that I would like to see replicated across the country! Check in was a breeze, we were able to get in early and had an upstairs room near the stairs. Again, this is an...

My business associate and I spent three nights at the Graduate. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were decorated in the 50s/60s dorm theme, but we're very clean and modern. I thought the bed was especially comfortable and I had no issues with the wifi. I also enjoyed the many TV channels to include various sports and movie...

Very interesting rooms! Fun and very colorful! My husband loved the peach jellybeans in the lobby. The parking guy was extremely helpful and super nice! Pros: - As someone who stays in a lot of hotels throughout the year, this place is an gem of a concept. The rooms are styled as dorms from the 50s-60s, which puts a very unique twist on your average hotel. From purely an appearance standpoint, I'm typically turned off by hotels where the room opens to the outside (like...

We stayed in the Hoyt House for Valentine's Weekend. It was a beautiful room with a fireplace. I loved all the antique items in the room. We bought the Valentine's special which was a dozen roses, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne. We also went to the spa which was fabulous!
