The staff and owners are exceptional. We were evacuated from our normal location about 20 miles away and called the resort when they opened in the morning. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and let us check in early and were flexible with the number of days. Granted, this was after Labor Day. Now for the park. The interior roads are hard packed gravel, wide and level. The spaces are long, wide and enough with grass between each space you don't feel like your own your neighbor. The pool was closed for the season when we stayed and since we are self contained, we didn't seek out the public facilities. There is an enclosed dog park and children's play ground. The wifi was excellent.

Place is very friendly and the grounds are clean. No showers or restrooms so outhouses are full and there is no sanitation cleaning in the outhouses as they say. Pool is very nice and the shuttle is available but it only runs every 4 hours so if you need to come back from the park and the park parking is only $5 for all day.

Ravenwood RV Park is a beautiful RV park with limited full hookups. Park like setting, it offers a pool, miles of paved bike trails and is close to Silverwood Theme Park, Hayden Lake, ID. and away from the traffic noises off of I-95. Lots of grass and shady trees.

This place really is great however we had a bad experience with one staff member in particular. We had a full pool of boys just having a blast and she targeted us in particular saying we were too loud. As families came in they even joined in an everyone was having a good time. This staff member felt it was "too much" and it wasn't something they were used to. Apparently fun isn't allowed at the pool.

Want peace and quiet? Well, this is not the place to stay. Traffic noise from hwy that's close by is non stop till after midnight then starts up again about 430 in morning. 10 feet of lush grass separates you from neighbor. So close can hear their conversations, till the wee hours, dogs barking at every move someone makes. So close to neighbors Kids were throwing balls into our food area while trying to eat outside at provided picnic table beside our RV. Train whistle in the night, air planes over head. And the constant roar of a huge truck on site. If you like cramped space and white noise this is the place to come to. The park does keep the grounds clean. Positive side the shuttle to Silverwood is nice and driver is very friendly.

Would have been a 5, but couple of things management might want to consider:

Light at the entry to your park. Beautiful in daylight, but extremely difficult to see where to turn at night.

Staff was very friendly. However, management may want to allow guests more than 9 minutes past check out time to have an employee ask if the guests are leaving. Pretty sure he could tell we were packing up and almost done.

The staff and owners here make this place amazing. Still early in development so no showers (yet) and pool is almost complete but even without these open yet this place deserves 5 stars. I read other post about no fires... They allow gas propane fires just like all the other parks around and we enjoyed a fire every night.

Our site here was one of the better ones. A very hot day back in site with electric, power and lots of shade trees. Only a few trees in the park due to it being fairly new. No washrooms (portables only) or showers. Pool was great to cool down and quiet mid afternoon when all the families at Silverwood. Management and staff very friendly. Park itself very clean. Will be great when it matures a bit.

My family stayed 5 nights at Ravenwood and had a wonderful stay! When we showed up late (after dark, around 10:00pm) the owner met us out front and personally took us to our site! He even helped my husband back inn the campsite and get all set up! We were so impressed with the hospitality we recieved and will definitely be back next year! As a family we look forward to making Ravenwood RV Resort the place we stay when we visit Silverwood!

Can you hear road noise from the highway being so close?
Answer from Tom Diana C

Hi, you can hear some road noise a times, it's about average for most parks. Inside your rig you can't hear anything . I would suggest the Sites to the back. It is a very peaceful setting and better than being in town with all the other noise. Have a good trip.
Answer from Cathy P

Hi, thank you for your interest in Ravenwood RV Resort. I'm sorry but we do not allow campfires, but we do allow the small portable propane fire pits. Thank you
