Small modern hotel in a good central location with a restaurant on basement level. Rooms well fitted, with all necessities. Pillows like bricks and walls made of paper so it felt like I was sharing my room with my next door neighbour! Friendly staff, good restaurant, breakfast fine.

I stayed in this hotel with a friend in August 2015 for four days. The room was very small, with just space for the two beds, some shelves in a corner, a small table and a stool. The wc was small too. It was quiet, though being close to the centre. The room was clean. Breakfeast was a bit meagre....

We stayed 4 nights at Dar El Ikram. The hotel has a great location, it's just 10 minutes walk from the central part of the city. The room was spacious and clean, wifi and AC worked without any issues. The only complaints: the stuff didn't speak english at all + breakfast was very very plain. In general I'd recommend the...

Hotel is centrally located, quite a distance from the airport. Taxis from the airport charged 2000 DA, which seems to be a fixed rate (locals pay about 500 from airport). Taxis from the centre to the airport will most likely charge a lot less on the meter (less than 1000). The hotel is clean and fairly small. The staff are...

This was our first trip to Algeria and after much research for hotels in Alger - either too expensive or too dodgy/old, too far from city center, etc. - we decided on Dar El Ikram. We do not know what to expect but the price is okay at average of USD100+/- per night, including b/fast (for 2pax) and never regretted...

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. I'm a single traveller. The location is very good because the hotel is located in Alger centre. The room was ok, clean and good size. The bathroom too but some bad odour was always present during my journey. The insonorisation is not very good too but I was there for visiting so at...

I had some troubles while trying to find an accomodation in Algiers - there were either cheap and dodgy options or really expensive hotels. Dar El Ikram seemed to be in between, so I booked it and wasn't disappointed. The hotel has a very good central location, next to Sacre Coeur church and just a few meters to one of...

“Wifi on the 5th, 4th floors was quite random. Other floors worked fine. Routers are generally located outside room no. 02 on each floor.”

“The hotel is five floors with 4 rooms on each floor. Try to get room ending with x01, next to the lift, you'll not regret it. The corridor may be dark when you reach your floor, but there is a switch on your left, next to the first room - press it, and the lights will be on to light up the passage way - save electricity measures. Room on the lower floor will have the street light shining in, so get an upper floor, else, do what we did, we taped the window with newspaper to block out the lights - for those used to sleep in the dark.”
