We never surfed before so we were a little anxious, but Khalids team is amazing! The vibe of the surf house is so chill and welcoming, they make you part of their family, you eat together tasty moroccan meals, hang out together. Special thanks to big Mohamed who took care of us for the whole week, took is to the city, to other places to surf and explained everything about surfing in a way that we were able to catch waves with confidence. He was also full of information about the Berber culture, about Morocco and its traditions. Perfect! Will be definitely coming back!

first rating here ever but definitely worth it: I was a total newbie to surfing, but gave it a try during a should-have-been-a-relaxing-vacation because of curiosity and my girlfriend and a friend which both love surfing. i did lessons on 3 days, stood my first wave on the first day already and utterly enjoyed every second at the banana beach surf school. i cut my feet, bruised my ribs on a riff but couldn’t be happier after all. special thanks to khalid and aziz for their eager help, motivation and patience.

We just wanted to go for one surf lesson, but it was sooo nice with the guys- so, we went almost every day. The instructors give good advice for each surf-level and we felt very welcome. They just instruct with small groups -they take care of everybody. Felt like we already know them and they gave us good advices for our stay in adagir. Special thanks to Khalid and Aziz <3

In every aspect, this is the place that makes you want to stay. Khalid, his friends and family are the most warm and welcoming squad you can hit upon. They are the best surf instructors, the simply 'have' the best atmosphere, the best food, the best rooftop with a view, the best family, the best Moroccan vibe, the best friendship, the best in everything. Surfing at every level. On different spots if necessary. You simply do not want to leave. This goes absolutely for myself, but also for all our children (age 15-27). We spent the best time possible. I hesitated to write this review, as I do not want you all to come and spoil it ;-) (just kidding...)

Without expectations I booked very spontaneously my trip to Banana Surf Camp in Morocco. After my stay of 7 days at this marvelous place I didn't want to leave at all. I really fell in love with this place and the people. It is a family owned camp and it really feels like being part of this family when you stay there. There is no better way to experience and get to know the Moroccan culture. You are part of their daily life and culture and the home made food you will be daily served is just amazing. There is no better place to learn surfing as well. The teachers are very passionate about surfing and know how to confer their passion to the students. I have never learned so much about surfing than during these 7 days at Banana Surf Camp :) The combination with Yoga in the evening makes it a perfect holiday.

During my Moroccan Surf trip, I spent the last 8 days of it at the Banana Surf Camp and didn't wanna leave at all again! I really had a wonderful time there and surely will come back - insha'allah :-) From the very first minute of my stay, I found myself spontaneously living admits Khalid's wonderful and happy Moroccan Banana Surf family where mother, sister, actual everybody take care of you, prepare typical tasty and freshly cooked dishes with so much of love. I always felt deeply welcome and almost like being actual at home. Also the surf lessons were great: on the one hand educational and pushy, on the other hand funny and I felt safe and being in good hands. The group of students was very little what makes the surf course very effective and much more focused on the individual needs and goals. A big thanks goes - of course - ;-) to Kris, the Surf instructor I had the most surf lessons with: Thank you for pushing and encouraging me which is why I took my first green waves with you!!! All my other thx go - again - to Khalid, his mother, sister, Aziz, family! You guys were so supportive and lovely, joyful! Really really looking forward to see you soon again...at the next bigger green wave! :-) Je vous embrasse énormément! Bisous! Norma

I participated in a yoga and surf retreat in March. Loved every minute of it- I was relaxed from the beginning. The very competent surf teachers made me feel safe in the waves and gave me confidence. Its amazing how quick you learn in a week! The yoga by Sandra at sunsets was really special too, leaving me with a gratitude in my heart for the rest of my life! Thank you Banana Surf Team, I feel blessed I found you:)

Even tough I didn’t slept at Banana Surf, I had really good time over there. The ‘Banana family’ is way more than friendly, there hospitality overwhelming! Be aware of the fact that when you cross the threshold of the Banana house, you will stay for tea, homemade cakes, tajines...All homemade by Mama Aïscha and her daughter. And good to know; you can pay with hugs & kisses 😉🤙🏻
