Poor customer service from the staff on the front desk. The staff were not welcoming to us and one of them has a particularly arrogant manner. There was an issue regarding our booking which had been paid for in full by our travel agent in advance. The member of staff refused to accept this despite us having emails and vouchers to prove it. We had to call the UK office of Trailfinders who resent the confirmation. No apology from the staff. It might be a budget hotel, but that is no reason for the poor attitude of the staff on the front desk. Wouldn't stay there again.

I stayed 4 nights in standard room. My room was on the 12th floor facing Casa Port station side. It was not my first time in Ibis property, but I found this particular hotel to be very average. It is good for 1-2 nights short stay but not for longer. Things I liked: The location is very convenient. Literally across the street from Casa Port train station. An easy 15 min walk to the United Nations plaza or to medina. Shower worked as expected, with an adequate water pressure and enough hot water. Things I did not like: The hotel is very noisy. There is a constant noise from the street, despite my room being on the 12th floor. Cars honking, people talking in loud voices at night, dogs barking, etc. If you want to have a quiet night sleep, forget about it. Wi-Fi is very sporadic. Breakfast is average. There are some choices but food is cold. Front desk people need to get a training on how to smile more and be more welcoming. Breakfast people and housekeeping are nice and friendly though. If you want to have food/drinks in the hotel keep in mind that it is very overpriced. 30 dirhams for a cup of espresso out of the espresso machine is a way too much by Casablanca standards. The front desk charged my card in dollars instead of dirhams using their own conversion rate without even asking me. Anywhere I travel, I am always asked. No exceptions. 3 stars by TA standards. I would not stay here again.

A very unpleasant experience! We had a couple of coffees at the bar and asked to be charged to the room. Soon after, the barman followed us to the elevator, asking to be paid. Again we asked to charge to the room. We went to dinner, and when we came back, the Batman again followed us and asked again to be paid. We paid to avoid any more hassle, but when we reached the room, both our key cards were deactivated (the clerk didn’t apologize and just said it was a coincidence that 2 cards kept by different people were accidentally deactivated at the same time). Very unpleasant and we will not be coming back.

They have a very bad service. Front desk discriminate Asians. They didn't treat us well here unlike when they handle other nations. Front desk is the worst. Knowing that Moroccan to be friendly, here is far worst. Though they have good rooms but very bad service.

Well….. very confused staff, reluctant to relate to the word “service”. The room smelled of old ashtray and mould. It really needed fresh air!! and immense effort in cleaningWe had dinner and breakfast and even though they had tried, it never really turned out the right way. Even the elevators didn’t cooperate On the good side: it very close to the station and there is a local shopping area nearby, as well as a Starbucks and McD

This is honestly the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at, the rooms are dirty, the beds are filthy and the bathroom had an uncomfortable odor. The staff are rude and we were told at night that we had to switch rooms, they refused to tell us why. If you plan on communicating in English with the staff, you need to consider another hotel as they don't have the necessary language skills to communicate in English. I also wanted to make a complaint about a member of the staff for the way I was treated and he refused to give me his name. The only positive about this hotel is it's decent location, however, there are several other hotels really close by to consider and I wish that I had picked another one. A few tips for you guys that still decide to book this hotel despite all of the above is to not use the taxis in front of the hotel as they try their very best to rip you off, there are more taxis around the corner by the Casa Port train station, use those instead. If you are able to skip the hotel breakfast, you should do so, the selection is poor and the food tastes really bland, they also water down the juice. There are some nicer places to have breakfast around the corner at the Casa Port train station.

The location of the hotel is right in the city center, you have to walk 10 minutes to the mosque and also to the famous Rick’s Cafe from the movie Casablanca. The train station is at 2 minutes walking and the breakfast is also complex. You can park your car in front of the hotel
