At the ODYSSEE Boutique Hotel in Casablanca, guests have called out the modern styling and comfortable bedding as highlights, alongside a breakfast that offers a variety of choices. While the hotel's cleanliness receives praise for its well-maintained rooms, opinions on the service and atmosphere are mixed, with some describing the environment as stylish yet somewhat lacking in unique charm. The location is deemed convenient by many, though not without its drawbacks such as distance from the beach. Some travelers question the value, pointing to overpricing and uneven experiences in hotel services.

Our suitcases were taken off at the door and we were directed to the reception. We have already arrived at noon. Nevertheless, Ikrame and Faycel checked us in very warmly. Our room was on the 5th floor, there were several elevators.
The room and the bathroom were very spacious and of high quality. There were many care products. The bar is also highly recommended: very attentive service, a large and inexpensive selection of drinks.
We met the hotel manager, Amine, several times. He was always approachable and asked at breakfast the next morning whether everything was OK. We found that very attentive.
After check-out we were able to leave the luggage in the hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel and very fancy. It doesn’t hold much Moroccan decor though and is definitely catered to business trips so it’s not great for us personally. Our view was just old buildings as shown in the photos but it didn’t matter to us. Out of all our hotels this is the only one that didn’t give us a double bed but two singles next to each other, didn’t like that. It’s also the only one to give us duvets that are thick instead of the option of a sheet, it’s too hot for us personally. We’ve stayed in Rabat and Marrakech and preferred the Moroccan decor but if you like western themed rooms and hotels then it may be for you. The breakfast is also catered to tourist and business people, so it wasn’t a Moroccan style breakfast like we had in others. It was the first hotel with a buffet and not a set menu. But I hated the hot food like eggs and sausage (they don’t eat pork so that’s understandable) but it only left pastry’s for us. The size of the breakfast room is not big enough for the amount of guest and rooms in the hotel. People should have to book a time because we had to wait for a table. The lift genuinely took 6 minutes a couple times, I don’t know why but you sometimes had to wait ages for the lift that we even chose to walk up 6 flights of stairs. It got annoying very quick, we waited at two different lifts and would shout to each other if ours came first. I’d say it’s over priced but it may be because it’s a business hotel. There were other little mistakes but they were minor. Location wise it’s fairly far from the beach and port, so you have to be comfortable walking the streets with beggers and busy roads or you need to take taxis everywhere. We’ve been to Marrakech and Rabat but by far Casablanca is the worst place for us and biggest rip off. The taxis will over charge sometimes when they hear you’re a tourist. Taxis have taken us to shops without our permission to sell stuff. The taxis don’t say set prices sometimes and just say don’t worry so they can over charge. 80% of the taxis don’t have working seat belts, some had ripped up seats and even didn’t have handles to take the windows down. There’s not much regulation on air pollution so the smell of petrol is stong in Cassablanca. Shops are more expensive here too. The Hassan mosque was incredible with the tour.

This is a comfortable place to stay in an excellent location. We really liked the on site bar and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel breakfast was perhaps the best that we encountered on our 18 night trip around Morocco and was definitely well worth the money. Bed was comfortable and rooms relatively quiet. We loved the location which was easy walking distance to the central market and the Medina and gave easy access to the tram lines and Casa Port train station.

Disliked · The shower over the bath was a little bit challenging. It has steep sides and could be slippery so I would not recommend our room type for anyone with mobility issues. The shower also ran a bit hot and cold at times but it wasn't too bad.

We stayed here as part of the group. Our tour guide had a reservation for 4 Triple and 4 double rooms. We had a confirmation from the hotel sales executive, Amina, and all rooms were fully paid (see picture). When we arrived at the hotel, on duty manager, Mustafa Alemi, claimed we had only 2 triple and 6 double rooms! He claimed there were no rooms available. After talking to him a bit loudly, his tune changed. All of a sudden, he managed to find additional triple rooms for us magically! This guy, Mustafa Alemi, is purely incompetent and rude. He didn't even know which rooms are triple rooms and which rooms double in his own hotel. Also, he has a really bad attitude to be in this hospitality business as his customer service skills are very simply awful. Our bus driver came to say hello in the lobby and this guy yelled at him and told him to wait outside!

The hotel seems to be newly built and the location is central. Triple rooms are nice and decent size. But, that's the only good part about this hotel. Water pressure on higher floors is terrible. The water stopped twice during the morning shower! There are four light bulbs in the bathroom and three of them went out on the first day. The fourth bulb was so dim which made us feel like using the bathroom in the candlelight. We stayed here for two days and the room key card stopped working literally every three hours. That means every time you come from outside, you would have to stop at the reception desk to get your key card reprogrammed. Breakfast was decent if you can find cups for tea, glasses for water, and other essential items to eat.

Lesson learned: pay a few extra dollars per night and stay at Hyatt Regency or Sofitel which are less than 5 minutes of walking of this hotel.

Spent two nights at this hotel in June of 2021. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Everyone was eager to assist and that made the stay pleasant. The rooms are spacious with dark interiors and somewhat limited amenities, including personal hygiene items like shower caps or lotions. However, housekeeping was timely and did a good job but the room we stayed in had extensive mold (due to the humidity in Casablanca, I would imagine).
The location was right in the heart of the "city center" and probably well-suited for business travel. It was not an ideal location for vacation travel as the area has a lot of noise and is rather unsightly.

Needed a good clean and centrally located place to start and end our 8 day Moroccan tour. After much research, chose to go with Oddysee and were not disspointed.
Being a family of 4, unfortunately the were no larger rooms availabke that coukd accomodate so both times we had 2 separate but side by side rooms (not interconnected).

The hotel was clean and had a great vibe to it. Room was nicely decorated and ckean with great ameneities. Breakfast buffet on our first morning had generous offerings and staff seemed keen to serve.

Location was centrally located and got very busy in the evenings and felt generally safe. However, we did feel after 9pm it changed dramatically and felt unsafe if you walked alone or in a small group.

Small local convenience kiosk directly across the street that offered all types of snakcks and drinks.

Overall loved this place and would return again if we needed to be in central Casa again.

My husband and I decided to spend a night in Casablanca and got a reservation with Odyssey Center Hotel, and we did not regretted the choice , the minute we walked in , we felt really welcome. We arrived at noon and although check in is at 3 pm , they check us in early without a problem . Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed , our bed was very comfortable and the room had a fridge and a safe box . The hotel is surrounded by restaurants , cafes and walking distance to downtown and a major train station . Special thanks to the night crew that helped us with directions and to Faisal that took extra time to help us with our boarding passes to our flight . In general we were very pleased and wish we had more time to enjoy our comfortable stay , the courteous staff and this wonderful city. We definitely recommend this lovely hotel .

The water in the bathroom kept changing from hot to cold almost by itself, probably influenced by what neighbour used. A real problem was that there are only two small elevators for a tall hotel so real waiting time. However service was good, in particular the manager in desk was kind. Prices for food are higher than outside of hotel as can be expected. Oh yes, the cooling system in our room worked very poorly so too hot even in winter.

Dear klauss#Choukrane Thank you for your stay with us and for sharing your experience with other travelers. We were pleased to read you liked the service but we are sorry to hear there were some issues with the water in the bathroom and the elevator. To react on your point and give you a better understanding of the situation, our Hotel AC system is centralized which means it can be only programmed on cold (in summer season) and on hot on winter season which is the case right now. Our guests right now are very happy with their room temperature and don't feel the cold of the winter so unfortunately, we cannot turn it off for a single room. Again, we would like to apologize for this inconvenience, and please be assured that we will make sure that these errors won't happen again. Our Team will take the appropriate measures to prevent a similar situation to occur in the future and will do it's best to ensure that the guest leave us feeling happy and relaxed. Again we are extremely sorry and despite our shortcomings on this occasion, we do hope to welcome you back to Odyssee Center Hotel and the great city of Casablanca! Sincerely, Team #OdysseeCenter #Letsstartover

I had a great time staying at Odyssee Center hotel. The people at the front desk were super friendly and the hotel is centrally located to walking around and the Hassan Mosque is walkable from there! The front desk and management folks (Salma Bendari with the trip planning, Chaimaa and Khawla at the front desk, and also Zakaria and Youssef) were super nice, and ensured that we had the best stay at the hotel.

I also want to specially thank Salma Bendari for being very helpful with my trip planning and also keeping my luggage when I was visiting other places in Morocco.

Overall I had a fabulous stay at the hotel and would recommend this place for anyone chossing to find the best place to stay in Casablanca
