We were on the 8th floor. The beds were really comfortable. The room was modern and large. The floor was covered in what looked like wax, maybe to buff the floor but it never got done.
We only stayed one night and the shower was cold when we arrived and at 6am the following morning.
The buffet breakfast was a shambles. I asked for spoons and the service person picked up two spoons off a dirty table, went and washed them and brought them out to us. The cappuccino coffee came out as hot chocolate. The latte didn’t taste much better.
The baguettes were fresh so I had one with jam.

Room was fine with above average bed and bathroom but no air conditioning! Room would drift and stay at 26C with barely any air movement. Complained and all they did was deliver a portable Air Conditioner that did not work either the second night. The management knew this as they delivered with the reservoir full complete with two ice packs that they never even refreshed in 24 hours. Bad rest both nights!!!

CONS: Room was terrible, mold everywhere so had to keep the patio door open in order to prevent health issues which made it difficult to sleep due to the incessant noises outside. Requested a new room, was told mold was everywhere and nothing could be done about it. Found the restaurant manager to be petulant and did not enjoy how rude he was to me for no reason, which led to a complain at the front desk. Choice of buffet food appawling, covered in flies, we opted to eat out at various restaurants during our 48 hours at Oum palace to prevent being sick.
PROS: Front desk staff were lovely, the hotel is nicely situated in the heart of the city, 2 minutes walk to the souk.
I do not recommend.

I participated in a 9-day trip to Morocco with Oulaiou. I stayed in this hotel on the 1st and 9th days. On the first day, I found that the hygiene of this hotel was very poor. The water from the wash basin smelled bad, the shower towels were yellow, and there were food residues on the dishes. Put it on the stairs and so on. The check-in experience on the 9th day was even worse. I checked out the room after 7pm and found that the air conditioner could not be turned on. I immediately went to the reception desk and asked to check the air conditioner. After repeated urging, it took more than an hour before the engineering staff checked. During the period, the air conditioner could be turned on again after repairs. , but automatically turns off after a few minutes. I asked for inspection again, but the receptionist replied that there was only one engineering staff in the hotel, so I asked the guests to wait patiently, and asked to change rooms, but there were no vacancies. Finally, after about 9 o'clock, the engineering staff provided a mobile air cooler to replace it, which took almost 2 hours. When dealing with the problem, the residents couldn't do anything for about two hours, which reflects the staff's lack of handling ability. Although there is an air-cooler, the air-conditioning system does not supply fresh air, so you still have to open the window when sleeping, otherwise the room will be very cramped. However, the room is located on the lower floor of the hotel and faces the street. It is difficult to sleep with the sound of cars all night, and the staying experience is very poor. To sum up, the reception staff only perfunctorily asked guests to wait patiently, urged them many times but did not actively follow up, and their service level and problem-solving ability were weak. In addition, the smell of salted fish was also found on the stairs this time. I believe there is a problem with the sanitary environment. There are many rooms in this hotel, but there is only one engineering staff to check and solve the problem? In addition to the air conditioner, the water in the wash basin drains very slowly and smells bad. I believe the pipes are clogged, and every wall tile in the bathroom is moldy. I have stayed in several hotels during this trip, and the shower towels in this hotel are even more yellow. The other room is located on the lower floor, and the toilet and lower body basin make noise from time to time (due to problems with the siphon effect and the design of the sewage pipe), and the overall hygienic quality is poor. This hotel needs a lot of improvement. I hope the hotel management will pay more attention to the problem and provide quality service! Please also ask the person in charge of the Oulaiougo tour group to consider the quality of the hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at the Oum Palace & Spa Hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning worked well. We found the location accessible to a number of attractions, and felt safe walking around (both during the day and early evening). Numerous staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly, including the fifth floor housekeeper, the evening restaurant hostess, the bellhop/doorman who escorted us to get ice cream one evening, and Hamza in reception. We’d love to stay here again our next visit to Casablanca!

1. First impression is a rude front desk. 2. Waited an hour for them to tell us they could watch the luggage while we waited firm them to prepare the room. 3. Executive suite has no balcony. 4. Lady checking in got a dirty room, then came back and. Said another person was in the room they assumed her. 5. The entire staff no one speaks any English, it is the international language. 6. Rude at the restaurant, would not let me take a plate to my room if I paid for it. No room service. 7. Extra loud Spa,not relaxing whatsoever. I did read this in a review prior and it’s true. The restaurant kitchen and cleaning is next door so clanking of dishes. The spa staff loud joking eating, watching TV, not professional at all. not a traditional Hammam. The lady laughed as I almost slipped off the marble that’s 4 feet up. 8. Dirty A/C smells like dirty water stinks, do t think they change filters. 9. Water smells like theA/C tastes disgusting. 10. Lights go out in hallways, really dark.

Don’t ever bother to look at this place. It’s basically a dump. The check in was a prolonged affair and the receptionists doesn’t seem to know, what she was doing. Took nearly 30 mins for the check in process. After a horrifying check in process, was allotted Room 602 where the AC wasn’t working. On complaining several times about the non-functional AC, they bought a water cooler. In fact, the room was hotter than outside. Later they changed my room after several visits to the reception and after subsequent harassment to this room (Room 107) (pictured here), which doesn’t even fit a single star hotel. And they are charging USD 100 per night. Never ever, I am going to recommend this dump which they call it a 4-STAR HOTEL. I would also request the tour agents to boycott this place, so that they learn a lesson as to how to run a hospitality business.

The hotel room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a rainwater shower, would have liked a little hotter water though. The buffet was excellent, a large selection of delicious items. The staff kindly provided a breakfast bag for our very early departure.

It seems almost sacrilegious to use the word ‘palace’ in the name of this hotel.
The rooms, towels and bedding were fine.
The food was cold and looked unappetising. Needless to say, we ate very little.
At dinner, we watched the drinks waiter taking orders for drinks. He issued a receipt after collecting money from other guests. We ordered a black tea and it arrived in a miniature cup, he charged us 30 Dirhams and did not issue a receipt….. I can only guess that drinks stock is audited and teabags are not.
I would not stay here again.

Everything in the hotel was good. Especially the breakfast, each of which was served omelettes with fillings of your choice. The restaurant did not serve beer or wine, but we were welcome to bring our own. The staff even put a corkscrew on the table. The wine was bought in a small shop 10 minutes' walk from the hotel
