The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. The front desk will exchange currency for you in whatever dollars you have. We had breakfast in the hotel a couple of time but ate mostly in one of the surrounding restaurants which were very inexpensive and gave you plenty of food. I got a haircut from a barber shop close by which the barber was excellent. The hotel does laundry but there are shops nearby that wash clothes also, all depends on how much you have and are willing to spend. Taxis are 24/7 in the area so that’s not a problem but the cheapest way to go is public transportation. This is a tramway (Streetcar) that goes right by the hotel. You just have to understand the stops of where you want to go. The small taxis travel just in the city. Only certain taxis are allowed to travel to and from the airport. Just let the hotel front desk where you want to go and they’ll help you get there. There was a doorman at the entrance to the hotel everyday. We tipped him everyday, they’re all very nice. We will be making a trip back to Morocco in the future, definitely worth a second visit!

This hotel has the worst service that I have encountered in a hotel. We requested a room service menu to be told someone would fetch one and this was ignored. Asked again at reception, that night, and was told again someone would bring one up. Again ignored. Phoned reception to request it and told again someone would bring one. No sign of the menu. Eventually went down to reception and waited there and one was produced from behind the desk. I ordered a simple meal (cheeseburger) and it took 50min to arrive at the room. This is not what you expect from a 5star hotel.
Additionally, the bathroom drain is clogged and stinking but the windows don't open to allow in fresh air. The TV does not work, the Aircon control unit does not work, the minibar fridge is broken, and the second room key doesn't work. Their appalling attitude to customer service is not "how can I help you?", but "why are you bothering me?". NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I would steer clear of this hotel.

Location was in a commercial area so nothing special as such , service was very good and can't complain, specially the concierge
Quite a few restaurants around their roof top restaurant had good view and service
Breakfast was very nice and the team was amazing, really looked after their guests
Room was dated and needed work broken lights and some other loose ends made a little not so good impact
The building outside looks very old and dilapidated

Very nice clean Hotel Super attentive staff. The reception people are amazing very good location close to everything within walking distance of the sights like the market and The Sacre Cour Church, as well as the Governance Building. The staff was fluent in many languages , reception is attended through all hours of the day and are very informative. There is room service and Restaurants on site as well as a rooftop . The rooms are modern in a very ikea type of way and everything was perfectly clean. The most remarkable ascpect is how close we were to all the sights we needed to see and the shopping areas also the are afelt very safe for tourist no trouble at all.

I have always wanted to stay at a Movenpick hotel and on this trip I got my chance. The hotel is a pretty non-descript glass style modern tower at the end of two converging roads. We had challenges with check in due to problems on their side. Frustrating, but staff were calm and cool and figured it out. Next, we get to our room and it’s not what we asked for. Again, back to check in to get things sorted. Finally we get to our room (standard business style room with two beds and work desk) and we get a chance to look around the hotel. We take our guide for lunch at the roof pool café and I have to leave after 15 minutes due to a guy smoking next to me. Seriously? Who smokes in hotel public places anymore? I feel like I am back in the 1970’s. We all share the air, so create smoking rooms for those who need to smoke. As a person with lung issues, it was a total letdown.

We booked this as our first hotel arriving in Casablanca for 2 nights. Staff were generally quite friendly and the breakfast was good, however this is far from a 5 star hotel.
Firstly, when we arrived after check in time, we went up to our room only to find it had not been made up or cleaned from the last guest. We were quickly relocated to an upgraded room which we were thankful for.
The foyer has a terrible pungent smell about it which does not seem to be sewerage and could easily be rectified.
The pool area was nice though as others have reviewed, a small space for the size of the hotel however when we asked staff upstairs for pool towels they said yes they would bring some and then disappeared. They then appeared again wandering around with no towels to be seen. We had to use our own towels brought from home.
We dined at the rooftop restaurant on first night and describe the meal as average. We ordered the fish which was tough and hardly served with anything and a fresh salad which sounded healthy. The salad was a disgrace, served with small cut pieces of chicken snitzel, rock hard avocado and it was like whatever was left in the kitchen was thrown into it.
At the front desk there is a clear money exchange yet when I asked to break a note into smaller amounts I was told there was no cash on site.
By contrast the Movenpick Marakesh which we visited is a true 5 star hotel. The Casablanca one is nowhere close to this standard and probably should be rated 3 in its current state.
