Dar el Ma was PERFECT - exactly what my fiance and I were looking for. It feels so Moroccan and is in such a fantastic location near Bab Boujloud (I admit, difficult to find, but you won't find much else in Fes). Houda, the manager, is delightful - so welcoming, kind, and warm. We did a cooking class with her...

Claire and Joe's house is AMAZING. Literally one of the coolest places I've stayed while traveling. While it may be confusing to navigate to the first time, it's tucked away from the noise of the medina. The lounge area is comfortable and spacious as are the bedrooms. My favorite part of the stay was breakfast served by Houda on the...

Plunge into the Moroccan way of life.. This warm and cozy riad is full of charm! Since there are only 2 rooms, it feels like you have the whole riad by yourself. Great rooftop views, lovely breakfast and to top it off the best shower you can imagine!

Our introduction to Moroccan hospitality started when we arrived in Dar El Ma. Houda, the young woman who welcomed us, was a fantastic manager. The room was exceptionally clean, the terrace provided wonderful views and a quiet place in the morning to reflect on the busy world outside the riad doors. Each morning the breakfasts were a treat. Within a...

We spent only one night in Fez and the Riad of Claire and Joe was one of the most pleasant things that we saw there :) The view from the terrace is unforgetable and the room we slept in was very comfortable. Houda, the housekeeper, helped us around with the transfer from the station, breakfast and taxi. Highly recommend to...

It was amazing that we found it. 3 steps in the medina and we were lost. But we were lost in Heaven. It is a beautifull riad with two rooms. Just renovated in the old style. The waterfall shower is amazing. A beautifull view from the roof. Good breakfast and a nice staff.

My partner and I loved our stay! It had an incredible view of the Medina, and within great ear shot to nearby minarets, allowing us to hear the call to prayer when on the rooftop (one of my favorite experiences). Our hosts were very helpful and eager to give us tips to make the best of our holiday. The riad...

Dar el Ma was an unbelievable experience! We loved our stay there and were very sad we could only stay for one night. First off, the house is very centrally located so you are literally in the middle of the medina, it is an incredible place! The house itself is beautiful, so amazing that Claire and Joe fixed the place...

My stay could not have been better. Claire and Joe were prompt in organizing Houda to pick us up at our convenience. Upon our arrival, Houda invited us to a dinner with her friends for an authentic Fes experience. In regard to the Dar, it was beautiful. We had a spacious room for three (and almost felt like we had...

Myself and my husband travelled around Morocco for the best part of a month in November 2010 and this is where we stayed when we visited Fes. It is such a fabulous, charming place to stay, on the first night we had the place all to ourselves it was amazing, like your own beautiful home. Then there were more guests...
