Beautiful Peaceful Andalusian Riad set within the backstreets of the Medina. The Riad is around a 10-15 minuite walk of the Madina, it is very easy to follow this walk after you have done it once. The Riad itself is beautiful as its a very dated property of around 600 years old it has a certain grandeur about it, when...

This place is horrendous to start with. While booking we were asked to immediately pay up before we landed there ( rest of the places we booked in Morocco required us to pay only when we stayed there ). Then when we landed, the entry of the medina from where we entered for this road was very scary , dirty...

We were a group of 7 and blown away by how amazing this riad was. It was so cheap and so perfect. The staff walked us to restaurants in the evenings, the breakfasts were some of the best the whole time in morocco, it was quiet and so wonderful for our group. It is not 5 stars, there are not...

We have just returned from a week staying at the Riad Medina in Fes. On arrival we were met by Josuf the live in caretaker, who saw us through the maze of narrow streets. We stayed in the Master Suite - an amazing Bedroom, Salon and Bathroom, decorated in traditional style to a standard way higher than would be expected...

Found this place last minute and were warmly received by the house manager. Loved the living room, giant suite, hot water and Internet connection. The manager and housekeeper helped us arrange everything we needed and we had a fabulous Fez style dinner cooked for us in the riad. Truly lovely and thank you for accommodating us!

Fez is like a city you will ever have known. The riad is stunning but lacked cleansiness, beaware there are cats living there that are not of the uk pet kind. The location of the property is perfect , and locals are friendly. Neeza the housekeeper is an intresting person, obviously tourists are her bread and butter and her friends...

What a fantastic place. This is not Hereford. This is not an English B&B! The riad was impressive with coloured glass, zwilij, high ceilings and an impressive courtyard with a fountain. And an orange tree, no shortage of fresh fruit here. My room, which I had to myself had a vast, well equiped sitting room (TV, DVDs and player, games)...

On corresponding with the owners of Riad R´Mila, I was encouraged by their own enthusiasm for the house, although they weren´t able to give driving directions or advise as to how to deal with the boys on scooters, weaving in front in attempts to ´guide´, we always encounter on visits to Fes. The house was amazing, exactly as per the...

Our first impression of Riad Rmilla was one of delight. The place appeared tastefully restored by its owners in accordance with their web site. The arches, doors, room designs and windows were very authentic and reflective of Morocco . The open courtyard was a perfect place to sit and enjoy a meal. The Riad appears very private. The kitchen had...

Where to begin? This place was heaven, a wonderful resting place to recover from the hectic pace of the medina. The rooms were immense and beautifully decorated, the garden was beautiful, the housekeeper took care of our every need and cooked amazing meals to boot. The rooftop terrace gave you just as good a view of the tannery as you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The house has been restored to an exceptionally high standard including features such as a plunge pool, sunken Jacuzzi bath and air conditioning. Riad Medina is in the centre of the ancient Medina in Fez; an oasis of calm set against the bustling alleys. It is uniquely positioned in a quiet area off the beaten tourist track but still within easy walking distance of the tourist attractions including the world-famous tanneries. There are stunning views from the terrace - just the place to take breakfast as you watch the medina come to life, or to sip Moroccan tea and watch the sunset. You may choose to rent a room or suite or, subject to availability the entire house. When you stay in the house it is not just a vacation rental but a true Moroccan experience. The excellent service and the attention to detail ... more   less
