Riad Laayoun is a beautiful oasis amidst the chaos of the medina. Simone met us at the taxi area and guided us back. Although it is a bit inside the medina , there are signs clearly marking the way. What a fun adventure it was staying here. It has been beautifully restored while maintaining most of the original tile. The... More

A beautiful place to stay. The tiles and the attention to details were a delight. We stayed in the Suie Safran ( a triple) right on the ground floor. It was a large room with the bathroom upstairs. We loved it. The food was delicious. We had dinner in the Riad two nights and the meals were plentiful and tasty.... More

I have just stayed at Riad Laayoun for four nights and completely fell in love with the place. The Riad has been richly decorated and restored and is an oasis of luxury and calm amidst the frenetic medina of Fes. The owner has the most incredible good taste and eye for detail which makes this Riad stand out from many... More

Riad Laayoun is a fantastic building, has a great terrace, and very friendly and nice staff (Jean Claude and Simu). I stayed with 1 other person. The accommodation more than met our needs. It's a great place to base yourself while checking out Fes.

Nicely restored Riad, good value, friendly and engaged staff and owner. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Fes is quite the experience. Lots of nice local crafts to shop for including rugs and leather, but even with ruthless bargaining, not as cheap as one might expect.

We had a delightful stay at the Riad Laayoun. More like staying in a friend's home, the Riad is an elegant and beautifully restored 400 year old building that captures all the style and magic of its history. The terrace has amazing views over Fes and breakfast up there every morning is a delight. Rachida's cooking is delicious and you... More

We spent our first two nights in Morocco at Riad Laayoun and had a wonderful stay there. The Riad is beautiful. It is clean and well maintained. It is in a great location in the medina. The terrace of the Riad has a great view. What made our stay so comfortable and memorable here was Simo's hospitality. Morocco sets a... More

Although the weather was unfortunately terrible for most of our short stay in Fes, we really enjoyed our stay at the Riad Laayoun. The owner and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming, and the building is gorgeous. Be sure to book dinner, too!

Could not have felt better cared for, fabulous place and people! No problem that we arrived at 5am either. Lovely simple breakfast, very helpful intro to the city including shopping recommendations etc and help printing our boarding passes and weighing our luggage when we were leaving. Great stay all around! The Riad itself was one of the prettiest we saw... More

This beautiful riad is clean and well-located but the highlight of our experience was the 5 star service. The manager, Simo, was kind, attentive and patient to a fault and made us feel very welcome indeed. The riad is also able to organise tours, airport transfers and cooking classes at a very competitive price. We spent a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon... More
