From the car park near one of the entries to the maze that is the Fes medina we were led up very narrow alleyways bound by pink grey walls to a large wooden gate where our Palais Amani guide introduced us to jelab attired doorman, Mohammed, and led us through to the classic blue and white tiled central courtyard with...

This riad is awesome. A little walk through a narrow alleyway reveals a true gem, especially for a romantic getaway. The rooms are huge, and the staff and owner are incredibly warm and accommodating---they are really willing to go the proverbial 'extra mile'. If you're looking for a sense of calm after a day in the medina, this riad is...

Tucked in within some of Fez' alleys, you would find a true oasis that would surprise you, especially after having to walk through some very narrow alleys to get to it, which is part of the experience for the enjoyment of this hotel. Though secluded, with no mini fridge and no 24-hour room service, this hotel does give you a...

We went on to stay in very special riads in Marrakech (Al Rimal) and Essaouira (Dar Loulema), However, Palais Amani was definitely the 'Jewel in the Crown' in terms of exquisite taste, detail, service, hosting by the owners - charming and erudite Jemima and Abdellaii, entertainment by the belly dancing chef and the delicious food and wine. We were a...

The Riad has been beautifully restored and the hospitality is the best. I agree with all the glowing reports about this hotel. November is getting slightly late for meals outside but we had breakfast on the terrace twice. The breakfasts are interesting and appealing. The meals in the evening are wholesome and expertly cooked- not unusual in any way. We...

From the minute you walk in, it is immediately apparent that you have chosen the right place. In the midst of the crowds and people and shops that can overload your being, Jemima and Abdelali have created a little piece of heaven. The authentic decor, the impeccable service, the delicious food, the gracious hospitalitiy of the entire staff is difficult...

Great stay! Very friendly. Would highly recommend staying here. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and hospitable. The dinner was also excellent- one of the best meals we had during our stay in Morocco. Riad was in the market place and easily accessible to us during our stay. Amazing view of the city from the rooftop.

Palais Amani is a stunning riad located in the medina of Fes. Decor wise, it has a strong moroccan antiquity base with a contemporary comfort. Amazing sheets, wonderful vibe, highest level of hospitality and customer service. Abdel & Jemima are the most lovely and engaging hosts one could ever hope for. The food is also excellent. The rooms are spacious....

The Palais Amani is a beautiful riad that relaxes you immediately when you enter.  The Fes medina bombards the senses, and it was wonderful to have a place to escape each evening.  Without a doubt, the Palais Amani lives up to the images on its website. The restoration of this riad was executed with a careful attention to detail and...

We started our Morocco holiday in Fes, so this was where we spent our first three nights. In typical riad style, the exterior makes you wonder if you've reached the wrong place, but then you enter and it's like you're transported to another world, ensconsed in calm luxury. This is a gorgeous riad with a beautifully landscaped and tiled courtyard,...
