The Medina was an amazing place. We were travelling in a group, which was good as we felt very safe. I would not recommend going alone. The narrow streets were like a never ending maze, crowded with colourful shops, market items, animals, people, tourists. The sights and smells were overwhelming. The medina was a trip back in time as we've... More

We stayed at Dar Fes Medina for three nights. The welcome we received upon arrival was the best in all of our travels in Morroco. Both Imane and Mohammed (owner) chatted with us as we enjoyed the mint tea and cookies that were provided. The breakfasts were delicious and filling - we couldn't finish all. We arranged through the hotel... More

We recently stayed at the Dar Fes Medina for 3 nights and had a great experience. For those of you looking for a 5 star North American type of accommodation this is NOT the place for you. But, if you are looking for authentic Moroccan hospitality and a place where you truly feel welcomed then you would be hard pressed... More

We visited in January 2015 and loved everything about this place. Mohammed and his staff are friendly and very helpful. The riad is beautifully styled and the breakfast was sublime. In fact, all our meals here were delicious. Will definitely visit again. Also bought a beautiful carpet from Mohammed's brother's store. If you ever get a chance, please go check... More

Mohammad and Imane made us feel like part of the family. On arrival and any time during the day mint tea and the most delicious cookies made at the riad were a welcome down time. Each day we spent time reading in a shared area getting to meet other guests or talking to staff. They organised two tours for us... More

Really enjoyed our stay - were welcomed with mint tea and homemade biscuits. The whole place was beautifully decorated with Moroccan artwork and decor. The dinner was spectacular. Mohamed, Imane and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Only a 10 minute walk to the souks. A perfect place to stay in the medina of Fes.

Mohammed and Imane were fabulous from start to finish. Imane regularly works at the front desk and answered our emails very quickly and with detail. Mohammed then met us at the car when we were dropped off in Fes and walked us to his riad, inside the Medina. Unlike many riads, this one is rather easy to locate, a plus!... More

The hotel was placed very well in the center of the old Fes. The inside architecture was lovely, both in the eating room and your own room. The staff where very nice and helpful as well as the manager of the hotel. We had a great stay. Jedrzej, Joanna and Andrzej from Sweden
