The chef/gerant (and gentlemen) is Rachid: perfect for anything you want to know about Fes/Marocco and things to do in Fes ! (just ask) Nice clean authenic rooms and a perfect roof-terrace with briljant view over Fes. Good coffee too (see picture). Near by the tanneries, markets, etc. and the Carrefour.

A very helpful and friendly host who was more than happy to show us Fes and was generally very accommodating. The Riad was great inside and very well positioned and breakfast on the terrace was always good.

We recently traveled to Fez, and we booked a room in Dar Moula based on other reviews. We must say that we were very happy in our stay. Rachid is truly a gentleman and made us feel like we were at home, and the staff were very helpful and nice. And we must also say that the best cook in... More

Well situated in the medina but would definitely recommend a guide to get there. You wont find it otherwise. It is up a narrow alleyway. The breakfast is lovely and served on the delightful terrace. There are not really any comfortable seats though if you want to relax and read a book or just chill. It is a small riad... More

Fez is quite an intimidating place so we were glad to have this riad as a relief from busy streets below. The tiny alley you have to go down to get into the riad is quite intimidating and difficult with a bag but this was not a big deal, particurly as the inside is lovely. Unfortunately the rooms were not... More

Possibly the most secret Dar in all of Fes. A hidden treasure, next to the Majid Kharaouine, this beautiful, lovingly restored, authentic Dar offers an un-fussy, perfect sanctuary in which to revive the spirit. Superb care and attention to every detail. Delicious breakfast on the roof-terrace. Special thanks to Adil.

Dar Moula is a fantastic little retreat in the heart of the medina, with a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the city. We stayed here for three nights and were very impressed with the rooms and the terrace, but most of all the hospitality of Rachid and Lahmia. Both went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one,... More

Nice Riad in the medina. The owner had sent us a mail with instructions and offered to pick us up at a central point. We hadn't checked our mail though (our mistake), so we tried to find it ourselves. Wandered around for an hour or so, paid some local kids to show us the way but even they couldn't find... More

We were more than pleasantly surprised to find this very nice place in the middle of the medina. The owner, Mr. Rachid, made all possible efforts to make our stay pleasurable and confortable, in a unobtrusive, helpful and humorous way. He met us at Bab R'Cif, as he suggested via email and took us through the meandering streets to the... More

“I stayed at the "Menzeh" room, with space for 3 people, on the top floor. It has direct access to the terrace, which is nice at any time of the day. You have to go through the kitchen, though, that will be in use most of the times. It wasn't a problem to us but can bother some. At the very least you'll have some more contact with Lamia and Fatima, who are occupying it most of the times and are excelent hosts.”
