Riad Idrissy is modern and hip but still maintains the feeling of what it once was. Each room is stunning, the staff was courteous, helpful and great to talk to. The Ruined Garden (a restaurant run by the Riad) served modern twists on classic Moroccan dishes, and the Garden will serve guests of the Riad on one of the many...

We traveled with our three boys to Fes and had an absolutely amazing time - mostly due to the hospitality of Riad Idrissy. Our room was at the top floor and we had easy access to the amazing roof-top to enjoy Fes from above! Some great memories just from the roof-top including a full moon, rainbow and waves from the...

I enjoyed the lovely decor and the comfortable room we stayed in. The staff were also very helpful in giving us directions and recommendations on where to go. The large breakfasts we had each morning were delicious and we had the choice of eating on a lovely balcony or in the garden.

We had an amazing experience. The riad itself is an architecture masterpiece and Sue, Robert and the entire staff made our stay really comfortable. We had breakfast in a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden, the medina and the food was superlative. Sue will help you to make your stay really smooth and enjoyable. We even had a complimentary upgrade...We couldn't...

Besides the wonderful staff and service amenities I would have to say a highlight is that my room was simply astonishing. It had high wooden beamed ceilings, windows of stained glass with shutters that opened up into the central tiled courtyard that was also stunning in detail. The double doors were painted with an intricate mandala design. This was to...

The riad is lovely--lots of great details in the decor, and great amenities like having coffee and tea dropped off at each room before breakfast. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful--they made the stay very pleasant. Having the restaraunt on site is great as anyone tired of wandering the medina all day doesn't have to go far to get...

Our friends recommended Riad Idrissy to us, and I can say we were really lucky and happy for that tip. Atmosphere was simply great and all the people working in Riad were very friendly and helpful. The first feeling when we arrived to Riad Idrissy was that we were welcomed by friends. Sue was amazing, she welcomed us upon arrival,...

Riad Idrissy- a refuge and comfort zone in the amazing maze of Fes' medina. We were upgraded to the Library Room for the first two nights- spacious, good shower/hot water (important in winter!), great terrace plus views for a super breaky (absolutely AMAZING "tagine baked eggs"!!!!). We never had enough time in any Moroccan city, really, so we'd defiitely come...

Thanks to Robert and his assistant Sue, we continue to remember our visit to Fes extremely fondly. Robert has preserved the real feel of a riad while at the same time insuring the comfort of his western guests. They were there for us at the beginning and end of every day and gave us invaluable advice re: transportation, sites of...

We stayed in the library room for 3 nights in early December. Everything about our stay was excellent. Room was grand and comfortable - since Riad was rather empty we also had a rather private adjoining library/sitting room as well as an outdoor patio/balcony. Breakfast was large and delicious - all the staff were friendly and helpful and interesting. My...
