The Dar Finn is a lovely riad perfectly situated in the heart of the action in one of the oldest quarters of ancient Fez. The building is gorgeous, our room was spotless and spacious. You do have to climb four stories but the view from the terrace is unforgettable. Such a wonderful spot for those delicious breakfasts or a sunset...

It's wonderful to hear that! Thank you. Climbing up the staircase is not an easy task but when you get to the top you instantly forget it. We wished you stayed longer. Warm wishes.

The experience at Dar Finn was outstanding. The location is perfect, right in the Medina, near it all, but tucked away enough that it is really quiet. Breakfast on the scenic terrace is peaceful and beautiful. The "honesty bar" allows you to grab drinks at your leisure -- not easy to come by in this country! Wi-Fi didn't work in...

You've been both wonderful and it was a pleasure to meet you. Thank you very much for your kind comment and for being great. When you come back I'll introduce you to another amazing place that I've just discovered! Also we are putting loads of effort into changing the ambiance of the terrace. It will all be wonderfully done/finished when...

Dar finn is a beautiful, clean and comfortable riad in the heart of the Medina. The terrace has an amazing view of the city and a great place to view the sunrise/sunset. We were only in Fes a short while but our hostess, Maggie was very nice and accommodating.

We have just returned from an incredible 5 night stay in Riad Dar Finn in Fes. The team there - Maggie, Mohamed, Jalila and Kawtar are outstanding. Really welcoming and full of wonderful advice about what to see, eat and experience. They went out of their way to walk us to places, meet us at the airport and train station...

This beautifully restored mansion has very comfortable rooms (good mattress, warm blankets, hot water in the modern showers), welcoming public spaces including an absolutely lovely terrace with great view of the medina. The location in the heart of the medina is ideal and easily accessible. The staff is helpful and friendly (thanks especially to maggie the manager), breakfast is delicious and...

Fez medina is a crazy place. Dar Finn is a calm oasis. Relaxing music, meticulously-crafted interior (tile and woodwork), amazing. You can relax and look at their books about traditional Moroccan architecture while sitting in one. Dar Finn manager Maggie organized a tour of the medina with a guide who was humorous, informative, and spoke perfect English. There was no...

dar finn is a marvellous riad in the heart of fes and it the staff is very kind and helpful. The riad is very clean and attention is given to details. The rooftop terrace is excellent for both breakfast (which is delicious!) and sunset (with some wine - which you can buy just there!)

We stayed four nights in this riad and enjoyed all the available services: airport pick up, organised trip, breakfast and diner. Also Maggie's tips were very valuable, both for places to go to as for places to wine and dine.

We chose dar finn following a recommendation. The riad is set up nicely with that traditional riad style: plunge pool mosaics, lamps etc. One major selling point is the spectacular view from the roof terrace. A view over all of fez medina which we woke up for sunrise to see. Maggie was very welcoming and had suggestions and advice. You...

“I would suggest to opt for better Riads available for this price”

“The property is quite distinct; one gets the feeling of being back in the 14th century. The rooms are comfortable and in some cases very outstanding: enormous, high ceilings, unique Moroccan decorations. The lobby is homey and lends itself to conversation. The stairway leading up to the rooms is difficult to transverse and the showers are a bit dated”

“Recommend the room on the 3rd floor!”
  • This is the 3rd floor room - wow! The ceiling was probably 25' high.
  • This is the patio overlooking the pool and courtyard below.
