We stayed 7 nights. The location is good primarily because it is very close to one of the gates in the city wall which means that if you get lost or are too tired to walk, you can get one of the very cheap red taxis direct to the gate and from there it is a minute on foot to...

Like many places in Fes, the building and door are non-descript but an Eden awaits once you're inside. A charming courtyard, beautiful decor and warm welcomes await. While this isn't a super-plush hotel, the attention and the thoughtfulness of the staff is 5 Star. Led by Omar, you feel like you're in a home, but privacy is respected. Breakfast and...

Me and my husband stayed in this elegant riad for 9 nights (28th Dec till 6th Jan 2017). It is situated in Medina yet stone trough from Bab Ziat which means the taxi can get right to the door of riad unlike many other riads in Medina. It is also 10 min walk to Bab Bou Jeloud-the main gate to...

We had a lovely holiday at this little Fez oasis. It was wonderful to return to the riad after the hubbub of the city. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They were all very anxious to ensure that we enjoyed our stay with them. The location on the edge of the medina was perfect for us as it meant...

We found this gem of a Riad. On the edge of the Medina and within 10 minutes of the hustle and bustle of the old Medina. The interior is hard to describe - its more he feeling it gives you. The Medina is loud, active and full of wonderful sights and scenes. The Riad Al Bartal balances it perfectly by...

Riad Al Bartal is a lovely Riad well located in the exciting medina of Fes. Behind the simple front door you’re led into a truly expansive space that houses around nine rooms with a lovely ground floor area used for meals, drinks and relaxation. We stayed in the more 'basic' rooms which were lovely in themselves (they are loft style...

This place will take your breath away when you walk through the door. It is an oasis in the crazy place that is Fes. Our suite was stunning with high ceilings, 4 postrr ged etc. The staff were just wonderful, helpful, friendly. The only problem we had was finding our way back to this gaven.

What a marvelous experience in this magnificent riad, a peaceful respite and truly the most beautiful riad we had the pleasure to stay in while visiting Morocco. The home is spacious with all the traditional architectural Moroccan details - the fabulous zelligs, stucs, the intricately carved solid wood doors, the immense height of the main floor, the painted wood ceilings,...

We loved our 5 night stay at this Riad - great location just a stones throw from the medina, peaceful, extremely comfortable, beautiful decor in our upper floor bedroom and the central courtyard was magical.
