We had wonderful two nights in this charming riad. The riad is absolutely beautiful and you notice in every corner how much attention they paid to detail. Very nice and friendly staff, unfortunately we could not try the dishes pepared by the french chef but had very good maroccan dinner prepaired by one of the staff members. We highly recommend...

This was a great place to stay for a refreshingly different sort of family holiday. We stayed in the Roumana suite, just across from the Qarmousa suite where our 3 young kids were. This worked perfectly, with a beautiful courtyard between us. We all enjoyed the fantastic breakfasts, the kids loved the homemade jams and breads. Vanessa organised a tour...

We could not have been happier with our choice to stay here for 4 nights over our wedding anniversary. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we really enjoyed the Riad and people. Vanessa is just a gem and her husband the chef cooks better than some of the Michelin star restaurants we have been to. Vanessa...

Our experience in Fes was very much positive influenced by this riad and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. We stayed in the upper room. Very clean, lots of space and great shower. The house is beautiful and the room booklet is helpfull. Vanessa, the hostes, was always there to help us plan our trip and tours. The best...

My husband and I stayed at Dar Roumana for six days and loved it. Our room was vast and so beautifully appointed (the tile work is astoundingly lovely)--plus we had a terrace that overlooked the medina and a tranquil hillside which was a great place to rest after a day in the souks! Vanessa is a perfect manager --no detail...

Dar Roumana is the best place I've ever stayed, a truly magnificent traditional riad. The staff are welcoming, sincerely friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. They happily organise tour guides and meals if desired. Room was spacious and beautiful with huge bath, bathrobes and beautiful bath products. Delicious breakfast, great views from the terrace. All in all I wish...

Dar Roumana was our last stay at the end of 3 weeks of travel in Morocco for my wife and I. The pictures on the website do not do this beautiful place justice; the rooms are simply stunning. We stayed in the Tamarind Suite, so we cannot speak to the other rooms; but our room enjoyed a beautiful view over...

My sister stayed here with her husband and daughter a couple of years ago and recommended it highly. So glad I listened to her! The riad was gorgeous - lovingly restored with beautiful mosaics, intricate geometric plasterwork and carved timber. We stayed in Tamarind Suite which was huge and very comfortable. It's run by Vanessa and husband Vincent - a...

We just completed a whirlwind tour of Morocco and Spain staying in a multitude of boutique hotels and Dar Roumana was the highlight of the bunch. Run by an Australian / French couple, the restored riad is amazing. Rooms are very large, with high ceilings and antique furnishings with intricate geometric patterns and tiles throughout. At night the central courtyard...

I stayed at Dar Roumana for 3 nights this September and it was an absolute pleasure! The staff were wonderful, breakfast on the terrace was lovely (best views of the city!) and the room was spectacular. Clean, calm, cozy and stylish! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice spot to stay in the medina! Vanessa was...

All rooms (4 suites and 1 double room) are decorated with traditional arts and crafts, intricate carved plaster, high cedar ceilings, mosaic tile floors, and hand-crafted furniture.
