We stayed in this Riad the final week of March, and had a great stay, start to finish. Initially, we were having some travel issues, as we were coming to Fes from Essouirra and it was a long travel day. The day we were intending...More
We traveled to Morocco on short notice and were a little overwhelmed trying to plan our trip from home. Dar Roumana told us that they could help us arrange guides and day- and overnight trips into the surrounding countryside. Vanessa sat with us during our...More
Dar Roumana is a spectacularly beautiful courtyard house-hotel near the outer edge of the very dense Fez medina. Vanessa, Vincent and their local staff offer considerate and knowledgeable advice to their guests and refined cuisine in their restaurant. Guest rooms, common rooms, the roof terrace...More

It's a short walk from the nearest gate to Dar Roumana. The gates having parking lots, though I'm sure you have to pay someone to keep an eye on the car. If you have a cell you'll be set as you can call the Dar to alert them of your arrival. If you don't it could be problematic as nothing is easy to find on your first entrance into the medina. Vanessa is terrific, alert her to your plans and I'm sure she'll help you figure it all out. ENJOY!
