I absolutely suggest this cozy riad to everyone who wants to visit Fes! First of all, the owner is so kind and helpful. She can arrange your pick-up everywhere you arrive and wait for you showing the way to the riad, hide really deep in the medina. The riad is very little, only 3 rooms so it's better to book...

This must be one of the best places to stay in Morocco; a real gem and such good value for money. Right from the very first moment of walking in the door I felt at home; Josephine's hospitality was second to none and the house was warm, inviting and stunningly restored. Josephine was a great help in organising a tour...

Staying in Dar El Hana is like staying in the home of a well-off, well-informed friend - extremely comfortable, very friendly and very welcoming. The house is charming, decorated in a traditional Moroccan style and pretty without being over-designed (as some riads are), and has a lovely comfy salon and roof terrace. Josephine was nearly always on-hand to help with...

An excellent place to stay. A lovingly restored house in the medina in a great location with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Josephine was more than happy to answer all of our questions and help us organise whatever we were interested in. Great views of Fez from the roof terrace. We also had a delicious dinner on the terrace...

I stayed at dar el hana for a week, and found it a fantastic experience. Josephine, the owner is a fantastic hostess and really can't do enough for you. As well as a tour through the medina she organised several trips to the surrounding area by grand taxi, and always tried to find another couple to go, to split the...

My boyfriend and I just returned from Morocco and one of our favorite places was definitely Fes. One of the main reasons must be credited to Dar El Hana. Josephine, the Australian proprietress, cushioned our introduction to Fes with a warm welcome, choice of beverages and an orientation (including maps) to the Old Medina. She was always willing to answer...

Dar El Hana is a fantastic place to stay. The love and care that has been taken in restoring this Dar is obvious in the bedrooms, bathrooms, courtyard and roof top. Accomodation is spotless, location perfect and it's especially nice to be given a breakfast including fresh fruit and yoghurt after a week of bread and jam!! What really stands...

I had a wonderful stay in Dar el Hana! Josephine and Geoff were both very warm and hospitable; they both made me feel very at home in the medina. The rooms and salon are beautifully restored and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent. I'm looking forward to sharing a G&T with Jo and Geoff again soon!

We arrived to Fes late after a very long train ride....and we got into Dar el Hana I felt I got into paradise:) The owner was waiting for us with hot soup and the room (we stayed at the suite) was impeccable. The sheets smelled like flowers, the room and the bathroom were so clean and the decor was so...
