This is a long overdue review. Stayed at Laaroussa for 2 nights in November last year. We chose to stay here based on recommendations and were very glad that we did. Due to a lot of miscommunications and difficulty getting transport from essaouria to fez, we eventually had to cancel a nights reservation (initially we had planned to stay 3)....

Our family spent two nights here and absolutely loved it. The riad was gorgeous, the staff were extremely helpful, and the location is very convenient to the medina. We had two bedrooms and they placed us in the blue and yellow rooms. The rooms were huge and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had everything we needed....

I am delighted to see that Riad Laaroussa receives such praise in Tripadvisor. Hodden on the edge of a side street off one of the main thoroughfares of the Medina of Fez, from the outside it is unassuming and plain. This is a deceit and as the first front door is opened to reveal a wide staircase of medieval proportions...

We have had the fortune to have travelled all over the world. In our experience what really makes a great place in not only the place and location but the people. Firstly let me say the property was spotless and the service exceptional. No detail was left undone. We were in the green suite it was wonderful. We woke up...

we chose this Riad because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were picked up by a car service and at the entrance to the medina a transporter met us and took us to the Riad. There are no cars allowed inside the medina. The alley ways inside the medina is like a maze and very crowded and busy and...

We chose to stay here on the trip advisor rave recommendations. if possible we think you have under rated this fab place : great location in the middle of the medina yet unbelievably quiet. The bird song wakes us at 7 ish and the thick walls of the riad hush the call to prayer to a soft lilt Lovely traditional...

One of the best places to stay ever! You enter off a questionable alleyway into paradise. Very calming and welcoming rooms surronding a lovely courtyard. Two friendly labrador retrievers to welcome you with wagging tales. Fred and Kathy are the most accomodating hosts. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. Tasty daily breakfasts are included. We accompamied the cook...

Stayed Nov 25-28 with another couple. We had the Green Room, they the Orange. Both rooms were huge, and very well refurbished in this old riad (a house with an inner courtyard). Our Green room had a sunken bath and shower (in green). Fireplaces in each room (which the staff lit every evening), very comfortable beds, pillows, comforter. Step out...
