We had a hard time finding the place at first and had to pay a guy to show it to us. Once you know where it is, then it isn't so hard to find anymore ;) Remember that Fes has a really big medina though with a lot of tiny streets and this hotel is not really central. Apart, from... More

I can really just highly recommend this Riad to everybody. It is located in the Medina close to Palais Jamais where you have a beautiful view over Fes. Enjoying the sunset and view from the Riad terrace by night was amazing! My room was clean, big and nice! The bed was very big, comfortable and clean and the towels where... More

This is a beautiful riad, the rooftop view was very beautiful, especially at dusk. Our room had a lot of character, if you had some knee problem, might be a bit difficult to get to and from the bathroom which was on a lower floor from the main bedroom, still it made up for the character of the whole place.... Fes was the first location of the Marocco trip we made. The Riad is very well located and the staff helped us a lot ! The rooms are well decorated and you feel at home. We did not eat in the Riad, but another group had a cooking-course and we heard that this was great. From the roof the terras... More

Very nice and comfortable Riad in the Medina. We had a big and beautiful room. Idir, who seemed in charge of everything there was very welcoming, helpful and friendly, did everything to make our stay pleasant and always with a smile. The meals we took there were excellent too.

Riad Dar Tafilalet is a beautiful hotel in the old Medina. It felt like having a whole luxury Moroccan home to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and did everything they could to please. The rooftop terrace has great views, particularly as the sun sets over the city. Rooms are spacious with air con.

This is a beautiful place to stay in Fez. It's in the old medina, so you're close to everything, but not so far inside that you'll never find your way out. The staff is welcoming and the food is excellent.

My sister and I started our journey through Morocco with a three night stay at Riad Dar Tafilalet in Fes. Aziz, one half owner/operator of Dadani Destinations and Tours, booked us in here, and he sure did pick well! Both Idir, the desk manager and Fatima, the cook made sure we were happy, well fed and comfortable. No request was... More

Gorgeous Riad tucked away in the medina maze. Staff, led by Idir, were most welcoming and nothing was a problem, even our late arrival was managed smoothly with dinner appearing unannounced. Cooking class with Fatima was educational but mostly fun and laughter.

We enjoyed the food, the service, the rooms, the terrace with a beautiful view and the location. The staff of this Riad are very personable and make to wish your stay a special one. The meals were creatively planned and tasteful. Never a small portion unless you impress upon them the fact that you are not able to eat that... More

“There are a variety of configurations to choose from. The one that worked great for us were five rooms on the second floor. Two shared a bathroom, which was perfect for my wife, me and our two teenage kids. One of the rooms further connected (with the ability to lock) with another that had a private bath and allowed the four nieces and nephews to have a, somewhat, private space from the parents. Very cool. Be specific about what you are looking for and there is a good chance they can accommodate you!”
