Had a four day birthday break in Fez. And to be honest it couldn't have been better. The Riad Tizwa is a gem - with all the features of a traditional Morrocan villa, cool inner court yard, beautiful mosaic tiles, painted ceiling and sunny roof terrace. However what made the trip really special was the service and the lovely staff....

Highly recommend this riad! We recently stayed for three days with a total of 5 in our party. The staff was competent, friendly, and went above and beyond the call to ensure our every need was met. The breakfast and dinner meals were excellent, and the staff even went to the extra effort of preparing a "walking lunch" for us...

We had a wonderful weekend in Fes, staying at this beautiful, peaceful and welcoming Riad. The staff were utterly charming and the manager was a fantastically friendly and helpful source of information about the city and Moroccan life. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and decorated with an eye for detail. The terrace has great views over the city and though...

Recently stayed at Riad Tizwa for a long weekend break. Found it to be spacious and stylish with every convenience catered for. A lovely suite up on the roof provided a peaceful haven for much needed rest and relaxation. The lovely staff were all friendly and really helpful. Seriously great breakfasts to set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

the staff at the Riad were extremely warm and welcoming - it felt that we were being received by good friends. the food was excellent and beautifully presented. the variety of spaces within the Riad allowed for each visitor to feel they can be either private or sociable. the restoration is the perfect blend of style and local craftsmanship.

We stayed in various riads in Marrakech, Essaouira, Fes & Chefchaouen. Riad Tizwa is by far the best riad so far in terms of breakfast, service (although Riad Aya in Marrakech was fabulous too), room size & comfort & amenities. The staff here speak English or at least could understand it well if they don't speak it. Mariam, the supervisor...

This 19th century Riad is owned by two english brothers who have converted it to guest house use with a fine attention to detail. There is a strong emphasis on quality of service and environmental sustainability which runs through as a theme. As a guest house, there are some compromises with the rooms - the house was built to be...
